Remarks

Overall it is a good college for studying medicine.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Enough clinical posting are arranged. Complete theoretical and practical knowledge is served. There are internal exam every 6 months and final university exam in end of the year. No, campus placements. As it is a medical degree No, hospitals take admission from campus itself. Candidates have to finish his internship after 4. 5 year degree course.

Placement Experience

4

There are no campus placements from the college because in medical college you don't expect a campus placement. Internship of 12 months is mandatory for everyone to complete graduation. Internship is basically the clinical practice under senior doctors.

College Events

2.5

Avarage one cultural program each year one time sports week for 10 days. thats aall for cultural programs. Monthly CMEs are conducted on new clinical techniques. Cultural events aren't that much big mostly limited to college students only No, external people allowed.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yearly fee is 65000 INR and mode of fee payments is by bank deposits or DEMAND DROPS only. No, cash or cards. And 12000 of hostel fee is also payable if you are availing hostel facilities and the mess charge of 3000 inr per month is extra that is for the food provided in mess.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I have not opted for any scholarship or education loan. But some people from poor socioeconomic status families getting scholarship for college fee hostel mess fee etc.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is actually dull nothing special to enjoy in campus a very poor gymnasium is there. Gender ratio is good enough is is 2 : 1 :: male : female. Male students are more in number than female students. a very little discrimination can be seen on basis of language and community.

Alumni/Alumna

There is no alumni network as its a new college no batches are graduated from this college. The first batch if the college is in their final years.

Admission

In india doctor is is a very reputed job so I opt mbbs to become a doctor. Admission in the college is based on NEET UG exam merit list. Two councillings are arranged one bu state government and other by the central government. 85%of total seats reserved for state domicile candidates rest for all India quota students.

Faculty

3.5

There are 8 to 10 lecturers in each department. HOD, associate professor, assistant professors are mostly doctors of respective departments. They are experts of their subjects. Teachers are doctors working in the hospital and taking OPDs everyday so they have practical experiences too.

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very comprehensive and relevant for exams but not for real world applications. I feel let the parts of body I was specially fascinating so I like anatomy very much and we also got a very good teacher, the curriculum is very good for examinations however the real wall applications of this curriculum is very little, they should be more real life applications and whatever the latest technology than studies are happening the student should get the latest info about them, timing between two exams in an internal semester should be a little more such as a day or two because we do not get time to prepare the subjects curriculum very well for the examination.
