Remarks

college is greatly influenced by politics Positive : Very good infrastructure Excellent faculties It's not actually a negative but there is some problem between the campus political parties. They make issues, strike and something like that and thereby it makes very difficult for other students.

Placement Experience

2.5

There is less placement in the college. But fewer companies came for placements and job interviews like private banks. College do not provide internship. The higher course provide by college is post graduation.

College Events

5

As extracurricular activity they provide nss, ncc and other clubs. Laboratories are at its best. Provide good lab equipments of the experiments we have to do. College gave good care for sports. Many students who is now at a high level in sports are from sree naryana college. Extra practice sessions are given for students who is best in the performance in sports days. A separate quota called sports quota are there in college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible for students. Students get concession for the studies and fees if they are not able to pay. Students get scholarship for studies so that they are pay there fees with the money.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a fee concession program called e-grantz provided by the government and also there are so many scholarships available for a particular group of students. They can apply and get the money. I got e-grantz which means I need not pay much amount for the exam fee of the semester fee.

4

Every year there will be a students union election.after the election there will form a students union. After all the programmes are conducted by the college union elected by the students.theunion innuagration is the first programme and the second is the fine arts day third is the chouristmas celebration and forth is the association day which is conducted among all the department according to their opinion and the last is the college day.

There is a girls hostel near the college and many students used it. The infrastructure of the hostel is very good and also there is a small boys hostel, actually it's not a hostel it's a house provided for some boys to stay and its infrastructure is also good.

Alumni/Alumna

The an college have a good working alumni. The alumni will conduct programme every year. A get togather is also conducted every year at the campus itself. The seniours is very helpful to the juniors.(a) Sponsoring scholarships and cash awards (b) Improving infrastructure facilities (c) Organising seminars (d) Encouraging extra-curricular activities of the students and (e) Career guidance and personal counseling. SNCAA has several overseas chapters in countries like the U.S. Malaysia and the U.A.E. It has an office on the college campus and a News letter “Souhouridam” is being published by it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
