Good but it can be improved a lot. The academics is good with well equipped laboratories but has to be updated.
Course Curriculum Overview
Students are exposed to the latest trends ongoing in all fields of engineering. AICTE curriculum is followed here. The semester exams are conducted based on the latest syllabus. Two class tests both theory and lab exams are conducted each semester followed by sessional end exams and both combinely comprise 100 percent of marks
Placement Experience
Most of the students are dedicated themselves to state and union PSUs.Our college has a placement record of above 90 percentage. Internships are provided in collaboration with government agencies like HMWSSB, NGRI, CWC, SOI, and many other private agencies.
College Events
Many fests are celebrated in our college inviting hundreds of students thouroughout the state. Technical fests are conducted including workshops. Various awareness programs, blood donation camps and many more events are organised. We often conduct quizzes, workshops, many other technical and personality development programs.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Tution fee is 10000 per annum for the students admitted thourough EAMCET and 200000 per annum for NRIs and foreign students. Additional fee includes autonomous fee of 10000 rupees payable once in four years of graduation. And mess fee for hostelers around 20000 per annum
Fees and Financial Aid
Students with family annual income less than 2 lakh per annum get complete wavier of tution fee and mess fee from govt. of Telangana. Few other scholarships are offered by MhourD based of performance in intermediate and FFE offers scholarship of 40000 rupees for obtaining below 5000 rank in EAMCET
Campus Life
University is located in the centre of the city in an area of over 2500 acres with all the facilities like dormitories, bank, cafeteria, swimming pool, health centre, sanctuaries, gardens and many more. There are many departmental libraries spread thouroughout the campus. Gender ratio as 33 percentage of total students are females. They are provided with very well secured and electrically fenced hostels. Many cultural events are hosted here raising social awareness with the help of NSS.
Hostel Facilities
Yes I opted hostel. Hostels look decent with two persons per room for first second and third year students and separate rooms for fourth year students. Currently the hostels reached saturation level with students. There are hostels available separately for PG students.
Alumni/Alumna
We frequently conduct interactive sessions with our alumni. They help us in giving many inputs and they also provide internships. They expose us to current happenings.
Admission
This university is one of the oldest one. The course offered in civil engineering is outstanding here which made me choose this college. I wrote Telangana EAMCET to get admitted into it. Later on the students have to attend counseling. They have to secure top ranks among all to get admission into the university. Based on rank secured students are allotted various branches.
Faculty
There are around 150 well designated faculty out of which more than two thirds are PhD holders from various IITs and NITs. They are currently dealing with few national and state government projects. They have very good research experience. The average age stands between 48 to 50 years
