Ashutosh College's reality

I wish they were more transparent while taking every semester's admission. Everytime something happened, they wouldn't give the list of documents they needed to be submitted and once we've reached the college they'd ask us to show all the past documents. That was pretty annoying.

It was interesting intially it became tiring as well, because from so many years CU was following the 1+1+1 system. And they changed it to semester. That left the faculty as well as students in huge pressure

Im not sure about the placements and job opportunities thing, but they do provide internship depending on the department you belong to. Like for BCOM, no such experience is needed but im pretty sure that other Departments have compulsory internship.

Alot of events go on thouroughout the year of which Spardha according to me is the best. Every year, a very big artist is called to perform and bar is set high. Our college is active in cultural activities and alot of events take place like dance, band, sports competitions.

It's feasible than other colleges for sure for example a friend of mine doing the same course from a nearby college pays thourice the amount that I ever will for similar education. It narrows down to less than 1.5 thousand rupees per month.

Not sure about the scholarship thing and loan thing. I haven't availed any. IM not certain if this college does actually need the give it loans cause it's already that cheap on ground level. But maybe their are options

The labs are top notch as they have more or less all necessary things. For a college to survive this long they must have done something good over the years. And the labs are also airy and huge. Cricket football and table tennis are the most popular games. I see alot of females in the games room playing carrom to cards. Things are pretty fair.

Alumni network and senior students as well as the union students are very nice. They are fond of the juniors and the newbees and are always ready to help and guide thourough. No ragging or unnecessary bullying is done

It's a Government college so the fees structure is affordable. Also the process was quite simple. All we had to do was fill up the online form and then wait for the merit list to come. And as soon as the name was in, an online payment for admission was to be done in a given range of dates.

The faculty is really nice, they take classes regularly unlike other colleges. Also the way of teaching is really smooth, since only 1 topic is covered in every class. The rooms are huge and airy and teachers are well audible.
