Remarks

Overall, my college is good in almost all aspects, be it academic or cultural/ extracurricular activities/ sports. The environment is good with greenery and being on the top of a hilly area, has a really good ventilation. I'm satisfied with the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It is a very engaging course as one has to attend clinics too in between classes. Its not a chilled environment as I would describe it. But we too have fun. All studies and no fun can sometimes end up in a anti social environment.

Placement Experience

4.5

Yes, our College provides internship. In the hospital opd itself. I am just a 3rd year undergraduate, so I didn't finish my internship yet. But I think the internship's aim is to develop an idea of treating patients in different departments.

College Events

4

Cultural fest- Euphoria is conducted. The whole college collectively takes part in different cultural events. Usually it is 3- 4 days long. Dance, singing, acting, cooking, painting, fashion show are some of the competitions. Students from other colleges are allowed to attend these festivities.

Fees and Financial Aid

As of my knowledge, I don't think the college provides loan for students. And as of scholarships, the college doesn't provide any scholarship. The students can avail scholarships from any organisation for that matter.

Campus Life

4

Sports activities daily can be seen in the campus ground. There's a gym for both men and women separately. Workshops, of different departments, are seen, on different days, everynow and then. Students can enjoy the privileges of the college equally, without discrimination of any sorts.

Hostel Facilities

5

Infrastructure of the hostel is good. Usually 2 students share a single room. Students can opt for a room for himself/herself. There is study table, a chair, a book shelf and a wardrobe. Cot is provided, students have to carry bed and pillow by themselves. There's an attached bathouroom with a sink, Western toilet system and shower. Hot water is available.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are well mannered and friendly. There is no ragging, as it's prohibited. One can always approach a senior for any help, regarding subjects, and any other problems. Yes, I think talking about method of learning, from a number of seniors has helped me to cope better with my studies.

Admission

I had to write NEET UG exam. After the results came, there's a AIR and a state rank for every student. Based on the STATE rank, I got a seat in AJIMS. My AIR was 96k and state was around 3400 (Karnataka rank).

Faculty

4

The faculties are good, overall. But like any other college, some faculties are very much interested in making the subject understandable to the students. There are few faculties who just come and with a help of ppt, say somethings and go. Well yes, it really depends on the interest of the individual of course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very comprehensive and relevant for exams but not for real world applications. I feel let the parts of body I was specially fascinating so I like anatomy very much and we also got a very good teacher, the curriculum is very good for examinations however the real wall applications of this curriculum is very little, they should be more real life applications and whatever the latest technology than studies are happening the student should get the latest info about them, timing between two exams in an internal semester should be a little more such as a day or two because we do not get time to prepare the subjects curriculum very well for the examination.
