My course is purely related to agriculture sector,My exam papers also consists of mechanical and civil papers.the course consists of 8 semesters.the lab facilities are very nice and good.practically we can learn a lot

Our college offers 100%placement.mostly many companies come and recuirr departments like CSE,ECE.IT There are also many companies to recurit otjer departments.the average salary was 4lakhs per annum.mostly everyone gets places

Our college has cultural club,tamil club,eco club.various events will be conducted in our college.One of The biggest event Kaalam was celebrated every year in our college.around 3000 out college students will come.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Management fees cost 1.5lakhs per annum and counselling fee is 85 k,if you are first graduate in your family you will get a concession of 20 thousand.hostel fees ranges around 65 thousand that includes everything.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you have 90% mark in your higher education exam you can get a fee wavier of about 80% and if you are a first graduate in your family you can get a scholarship of 20 thousand rupees. Based on your academic performance you will get scholarship

Placement Experience:

There are companies but the companies that were told that the good ones, they didn't come so much.. only a few companies that gave a package above 5 lakhs came in for my department.. the rest of them were either 4 lakh package or below it was not very good. even the 1 or 2 good companies that came tehy came for electrical.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of each course is different and it is followed by the guidance of Anna university, we have several topics and it is under the regulation of 2021 respectively, I feel this easier to learn and there comes an opportunity to do what we learn in theory hour in our laboratory hour it will make more connected to our course, but there is lagging factor that is we are far away from the modern world and we need to put effort to compete with. The exams are not difficult and the frequency of the exam is quite manageable.

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.

To be Frank, my cousin who is an alumini of this college who suggested me that this college is a good one for engineering, and I believed it blindly but lately regretted for that decision, the quality of the education is quite low and the holidays are rare in this college, but it is better compared other engineering college in it's tier.
