Moderate college for any upsee aspirant.

Overall i would prefer to give 4 out of 5 to my college till now i had good experience in this college. College management is quite robust and i would suggest everyone that if someone is not able to make up to IITs/NITs or other college of equal standards, he/she must get admitted to this college.

I passed UPSEE in 2014. I gained 160 marks and obtained 1277th rank in that state level entrance examination. With this rank i could have easily got top private college affiliated to UPTU, this was the reason i chose JSSATE without any second thoughts as JSS, undoubtedly, is one of the topmost private college in UP. Secondly i was aware of the fact that topmost companies regularly do visit its campus for recruitment. Also i came to know about its up to date infrastructure which meets today's technical requirements in industries.

Actually our college is affiliated to UPTU and hence follows the curriculum of UPTU which is not up to mark. The course structure does not suffice with the technical demands of the IT industry. There is very little focus on research which is essential for any student's practical knowledge enhancements.

Every year each department of our college receives an adequate internship experience. This year many reputed companies such as TCS visited our college's campus this year. Visit of such companies shoots up the morale of students. I am not accurately aware of the stipend offered but it was certainly a good amount.

Some students got package as high as up to 7.5 lacs per annum(certainly a satisfactory package for a fresher unless you are from IITs/NITs etc) others also received good package, 6 lacs per annum being the average package, 87 students out of 120 are already placed and companies are still visiting our campus. Our whole semester is full of technical and cultural fests. Greatest of them all is 'ZEALICON', our annual fest. It is the gateway to showcase all our best cultural and technical events. It includes participation from all around the entire college. Zealicon is a three day annual fest which does the work of shooting up our technical as well as cultural skills amidst the hectic schedules of classes.

I got admitted to this college in 2014 fee at that point of time was 1,20,000 of course it is not an easy amount to pay for everyone. Tuition fee alone is 90000 - 95000 my many friends were bound to take loans due to this large amount of fee they had to pay but thanks to scholarship programmes, it works as a saviour.

Yes, many students have availed scholarships which JSS has been providing. More than half of our class has got scholarship of more than 50K. I have not availed loan so i am not aware about loans availability.

Students of JSSATE experience quality campus life. Gender ratio is very rich. This college lies in the ncr region and hence there is no problem of intolerance as students as well as the parents are well educated. There is no problem of religious belief overtaking rational thoughts. Although economic status varies from student to student, it's never a cause of student groupings. Actually our MCA department is not as involved as B.Tech student are. MCA department also conducts various extracurricular activities ranging from sports to debates but not so frequently. In JSSATE hostel facilities are only limited to undergraduate students. They do not provide hostel facilities to MCA/MBA or other Post graduate students. Anyways, it costs around 80000-90000 to those who reside in college hostel. The facilities provided by hostel is very efficient and up to mark.

I would like to give 5 out of 5 on alumni network of my college. The Alumnus of my college is always ready to lend a helping hand to each and everyone who came to them. Many passed out students are keen to conduct workshops and seminars so as to help their junior students. I personally meet few seniors and get informed about latest technology trends in industry. I have also talked to one of my senior and he has assured me of taking me to his office and brief his work.

We have three sessionals followed by a semester exam conducted by university's end we have 2-4 lab sessions per week sometimes this whole schedule of labs and sessionals become hectic but usually it is not so. We get enough time for our preparation.

The faculties are responsible enough to carry their jobs smoothly there is slight problem in faculty standards some faculties are not up to mark, they bring down the deeply rooted reputation of this institution. They keep rotating the faculties, due to this sometimes a faculty gets a subject he/she is not good at.
