Would be better if more placements are included. The infrastructure is good but the area is too hard to be located. Need more improvements in mess management. The schedule for the classes are tight.
Course Curriculum Overview
Well covering the content. It focus less on research, rather it gives more importance on theory. It would be better if more practicals are included. The syllabus doesn't completely define the topic. Need some improvement in the course curriculum.
Placement Experience
There is less placement opportunities in our college even then students can get placements by looking by their own. Since it is a new college, it isless popular and companies hesitate to visit on our campus to recruit students.
College Events
Our college gives equal importance to the cultural activities like technical fests, association programs. Our college ensures maximum participation of teams from colleges outside in the technical fests. More than 10 events are conducted by each department.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is little bit high despite the facilities. They charge seperate fees for all the cultural activities despite the special fees paid by the students. The management is not providing sufficient funds.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college itself provides scholarships for students having good academic records. Scholarships are provided based on the annual income as well as the economic conditions and based on the course they opt.
Campus Life
They give much importance to extracurricular activities along with the academics. Extracurricular activities include sports, arts, techfests, quiz competitions, idea pitching competitions etc. They ensure good participation of all the students. Politics is out of the campus but has union and student representatives.
Hostel Facilities
Hostelrooms are well maintained as well as clean. They ensure thesafety of students inside the hostels by assigning a warden as well as a security. Students are safe inside the hostels and require permissions to allow exit or entering the hostel.
Alumni/Alumna
All the alumnis are supportive and provide necessary information for our career. Thourough this network we came to know about the internship opportunties, technical events held in other institutions etc.
Admission
Thourough Centralized Allotment Process after a common entrance test conducted by Kerala Government at state level. The score in entrance exam is added up with the marks acquired in 12th exam. Within that reservations are given to backward classes of the society.
Faculty
All of the faculties are post graduates but have least experience in teaching field. Most of them are freshers with less expertise on the core fields. Faculties consider the job just as to improve their career expertise but there are experienced faculties too.
