Remarks
Negative remark is that infrastructure wise it college is a bit back providing just the basic needs of the students alone. They do not take any initiative for the extracurricular activities and also have many problems with the surroundings.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum under the Calicut University and 5 years of the course is divided into 10 semesters with 1st and 2nd semesters are combined but the rest are different University examination. There will be jury after every semester for design and if you fail the jury you will be retained or given re jury if failed that too then you will be year back.
Placement Experience
There are proper placement given to student's with proper folios. Internship are there in our curriculum and is given every 4th year. This system has changed over the years last scheme wise internship was for 1 whole year but the new scheme wise it's just for 6 months. Stipend is according to the firms.
College Events
We conducted programs like Zonal NASA in our college last year. Zonal NASA is a program conducted for the architecture students from all the colleges in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. We also conducted the first Malappuram flea market for the last 2 years called the GALA. We also presented our sheet to the local members in three area. We also conducted numerous sport events.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are no scholarship provided by our college worth mentioning but there are many scholarship given by the National and state to provide education to lower class students. There are many such scholarship varying from 10k to 90k
Campus Life
The extracurricular activities are very rare in our campus in our college for some reason and students themselves take initiative and make extracurricular activities possible by inviting other colleges and all.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network in our college is worth mentioning these students keep a tight relationship with the juniors and friends. They also help the juniors to clear their doubts and questions the juniors have. They also participate in the programs done in our college and overall are like family.
Admission
Called and enquired about the college and details for admission.Went to the college the next day with parents and brother to the college with all my details and original 10th and 12th results with a printed copy of the NATA exam mark sheet. The calculated my percentage and gave me a seat for b.arch.
Faculty
The faculty in my college are mostly practitioner architects who have this teaching a part-time and are well experienced and knowledgeable.They also try give exposures for us like workshop and lets us participate in national and state level programs.
