The canteen serve food even though it is neat and tidy not much tasty. And also no price deduction for ataff and students
Course Curriculum Overview :
When I was student in MES the curriculum and syllabus is planned by university of Calicut. Since it is affiliated to Calicut university. Now MES college is an autonomous college. So college it self developed a.new syllabus and academic planner with the help of best educators in the country
Placement Experience :
Since it is a arts and science college placement is very few. Some companies like It company Food gate Moder bread Elite Kinfra Nestle Are some examples for companies came for interview
College Events :
Physics day. This is celebrated every year. And it is funded by college management itself. In these programs eminent personalities from the science world is participating in every year. Like this all other departments also conducting similar programs. And also ugc sponsored national seminars and conducted everyyear by all departments
Fee Structure And Facilities :
MES MAMPAD COLLEGE is a government aided college. So there is no students need to pay Money as tuition fees. But a nominal university fee, special fee, examination fee and pta fund should be paid by the all stidents. Out of this fee paid to government and university is returned back to students by egrands scholarship.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Every students get egrands scholarship as per government of Kerala decision. And also each students can apply for different scholarships as on their convenience and eligibility. College is very cooperative to avail the scholarship.
Campus Life :
When we talking about gender ratio in mes mampad college it is around 20:80 boys and girls. Number of girls are far higher than boys. Moderate campus politics is permitted here. Major parties are MSF, KAU, SFI and a few SIO. College has well equipped laboratory facilities in all departments. Annual sports meet regular here. And mes is renowned for its football team.
Hostel Facilities :
My home and colleges is distant only 5 minutes. So for me it was not needed to stay in hostal. Hostal fee ia also very minimum. Around 3000 rupees per month ( don't know exact figure. Because it may change every month).
Alumni/Alumna :
A well organized alumni association is running with college. Each departments has their own alumni association and altogether there is a global alumni association.
Admission :
I've applied only to a single course. Because of my 78 % mark, it was very hard get admission. After two months from commencement of class one student left college, ao i got admission to that seat. On August 2013 I've joined the. College. And also i belong to same Panchayat and same place of campus. And also belong to OBC category.
Faculty :
Faculties are best as compared with all other universities and colleges in kerala. But when it comes.to productivity and performance, a very few are best. Because the inspire their students instead of teaching. All other are good in their subject, but inspiration for students is missing.
