Remarks

The atmosphere is ragging free and it's very positive for creative minds. The faculty is very my dear type and they become your best friend and help you in many many ways as per their capacity. They helps us in all way possible in our internships and encourages us to also gain on field experience on the subject matter.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course media science covers all the journalism, multimedia and other profrssions related to media. It is a very good course for creative minds. The atmosphere is all chilled with mind blowing up-to-date labs and we have internal exams and the final exams and we also have regular assessments and all kinds of creative project along with viva exams.

Placement Experience

4

The placements and job opportunities are good. There are certain criterias under which the college give the internships and the internships are non paid once. The college sends it's students to renowned organisation to work with the best team.

College Events

5

There are many events based on advertisement and PR and we have two fests one for HIT and another for The academy. we have different types of exhibitation and we also have an event called film festival.

Fee Structure And Facilities

fifty thousand per sem for Bachalor course and most probably it's around seventy five thousand per sem for Masters course. The Heritage Academy provides the following: B.sc and M.sc in Media science, BBA course and BCA course.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know much about it but the heritage group of institutions has many different colleges and they all accept scholarship documents as per as I know But it may definitely vary as the heritage group of institutions is a private institution

Campus Life

4

The gender ratio is mostly equal for both the students and the teaching and non teaching staff. Many different workshops are conducted by the college through out the year where instructors from outside India come and teaches the students. we also have a very good sport faculty and our different teams of different sports are very strong.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostels rooms are all sharing and the average rent varies depending on the facilities one needs. I am not staying in the college hostel so I won't be able to tell much about it but I can surely state that the facilities provided by the hostel is very good

Alumni/Alumna

The whole heritage family consisting of the alumni network and the senior students are very much helpful. They often help the new students with all the activities for the college and for outside college activities also. we all learn great things from them.

Admission

First I gave an interview and when I passed the interview then I gave an entrance test and after that I got the admission. At the time of admission I was requested to submit my certificates of class 10 and class 12 and other citizenship certificates.

Faculty

5

The faculty is very qualified, many of them hold a PhD degree and some are in the process of acquiring it. They are very friendly and a my dear type faculty. The people working as the faculty staff are all very knowledgeable and they help us all the way.

I currently in 2nd year, so I don't have much idea about placements that college offers. But have a brief idea on the besis of the seniors. My collage provides internships, and the average package is also good. From the sixth semester one can become eligible for internships. My plan is to study further, Msc and PhD.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was well-structured, and each semester, there were projects and presentations that also helped to test our knowledge. I got influenced as the curriculum provides us with financial economics, political economics, and Applied mathematics. The level of the exams was decent, related to the course. They could improve in teaching more practical knowledge and projects related to that, instead of only learning in a theoretical way.

Placement Experience:

Placements and job oppurtinities are less since this is an undergraduate college offwering honours degree. Though there is a placement and career councelling cell that looks over this matter. Placements are offered only in a few subjects, such as industrial chemisrty and computer science. The rate of placements are very high and come with high packages. Though I am not interested in placements, but I have started taking preparations for compititive exams. Such preparations are very supported here, rather than jobs and placements.
