Remarks

Infrastructure is very good discipline was there bathrooms were very clean management is good for running the college but not for placement.

Entrance Preview

JELET entrance my rank was 417. I was a diploma civil engineer so civil was already chosen and the college belongs to Delhi public school group that's why I chose the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure was designed by WBUT university and it was good the maximum faculty was also very nice.

Internships Opportunities

I was chosen by TATA Projects Ltd for an internship and I think that the internship helped me a lot.

Placement Experience

The placement was not so good approx 20-30 % placement was there.No core companies comes there.

College Events

Teachers' day is the biggest festival in om Dayal besides that other festivals are Freshers welcome, Saraswati puja, Vishwakarma puja, and fest all students and teachers participate in all the programs.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not availed myself of any kind of scholarship or loan.

My campus life was awesome I love my college. the infrastructure was very beautiful in our college. Gender ratio Male: Female:: 20:3 many students have extracurricular activities like singing, art, dance, drama, etc labs are not so bad there were no sports and competitions.

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

Placement Experience:

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality
