Remarks
Overall, my college life experience was very much good the principal and college staff was good, college Library was very big and resourceful the college management was very much interactive too.
Entrance Preview
I had interest in Sanskrit so, I choose this course from childhood, my dream was to stydy in this college, because it is the best college in our town. The standard of education in this college is good and the proffessors are also very much helpful. Also, the subject combination I was looking for was available in this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course was very much interesting. During this course I studied The Gita, The Ramayana, The Mahabharata, The Veda, etc. Our Department has got the highest marks under Burdwan University. Faculties were too good. They were very much helpful. They taught us even after the college hours also by taking special classes.
Internships Opportunities
Though our college was the best college in our town, but they don't have the facility of any placement at that time. But, I arrange to give tutions to few students after my college hours. The remuneration I got that time inspired me a lot towards my course.
Placement Experience
The job opportunities in Sanskrit subject is very much high since few number of students study this subject. But, our college didn't have the placement facilities at that time. But, the faculties were very much helpful. They personally helped us by giving references of students to give home tutions to them during our course.
College Events
Teachers' Day, Independence Day, Republic Day, Saraswati Puja, Fresher's Welcome, Foundation Day, Annual Function, Annual Sports, etc. were few of the college festivals that we obseved during our course. We also invite Teachers and students of various other colleges. Teachers and senior students also helped us to organise various functions. Similarly, we did that to our juniors when we became senior.
Fees and Financial Aid
I got a scholarship of Rs 500 from my college during my course this also became a inspiration towards the course. I got this scholarship as I topped in the 1st year exam this scholarship is given by our college to topper of eavry department.
Campus Life
Our campus was for only ladies we played indoor games, conducted camps, pujas, debates, dramas, etc. during our staying in hostel. The hostel super, staffs were very much helpful and cooperative. They mixed with us like a friend senior and junior students mixedwith each other like friends.
Hostel Facilities
The college hostel was very good. Seniors and juniors had a very healthy relationship in the hostel. Hostel super interact with us like a friend the food was good too. We got quality and quantity food at hostel. Even, special foods were cooked during festivals though, the hostel rate was very low.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students mixed with us like friend similarly we did that with our juniors even today also, we have interaction among us. During uja festivals we call each others overall, our friendship network is still active thanks to our college.
