Review of college

Overall the college is good. Facilities provided by the college is good.

All the basic knowledge about the industry is given to the students. A lot of things are done to develop professionalism in students. Kitchens are equipped with necessary equipment. College has good computer labs. There are housekeeping labs. Students serve food in the restaurants. All these help the students to improve their skills. Competitions are organized in the college related to the different departments, so that students can improve their professional skills.

Placement of the college is good. Students are placed in many companies as per their preference. Around 60 companies have visited the college. Students are selected for management trainee, operational trainee programs. Companies like The Oberois, The Taj, The Leela, Hyatt, ITC, Mariott, Radisson, and many more visits the college every year and students are selected for the jobs.

Fresher's party is celebrated every year, teacher's day is also celebrated. Other than these, various festivals are also celebrated like Holi, diwali. Tourism festivals are also celebrated like paryatan parv, swacchhta parv etc. Also sports events are organized in the college. Food festivals are also organised.

Total fee for the 3year course is 3,28,000. Mode of payment is net banking, cards, etc. There is no additional charges except the hostel which is 60000 per year. Course is little expensive but it provides you the opportunity to bright your future.

Campus life is very good. We enjoy a lot in the college. Labs are well equipped. Different workshops are also organised like kitchen, service etc. Different sports competition are also organized. College respects all the castes, religions, and there is no such kind of discrimination and all. College is anti-politics and the campus is totally safe. So there is not a slight possibility for any sexual crime or any other.

I have not opted hostel. But hostels are good. Food is good and rooms are also good. As the college is far away from the main city, so there is lack of standards but the college always tries to fulfill the needs of the students.

All are very helpful. They always help us in every problem. They guide the juniors very well and also share their experience in the college. They do their best for the juniors and are very kind.

I opted this course because in present world there is a good scope in Hospitality industry. Moreover I like visiting, exploring new places. So I decided to chose the course. Basically it is a 3 year degree program which provides the Bsc. Degree in Hospitality & hotel administration. It is based on entrance exam which is conducted in last week of April and the results come out in may. So according to the AIR you can chose any of the IHMs, private colleges. The classes commence in July. The degree is semester based and in the college students are taught about the different hospitality skills. About this institute IHM Shimla, this is one of the best institute. The faculty is very talented and hard working. You will learn a lot here studying with different students. College provides good placements. More than 60 companies have visited this college. Not in placements the college is participative in other curricular activities also. In short,this college is a very good place to bright your future. Thank you.

The faculty of the college is very talented. All have a good industrial experience and they give all the knowledge to the students. They taught the students in a very gentle manner and do their best in improving the skills of the students. They prepare the students for the industry in such a manner that the students don't have to suffer.
