Life in HIHT Shimla

I chose this course because it provides so many employment opportunities around the world as the hospitality sector is increasing year by year and there is not that much need of study hours as other courses required like engineering.

Internship opportunities were given to the students in well known brands like Marriott Hilton oberoi Taj hyatt etc. according to your academic qualifications and performance they send the students in different different brands to get the knowledge of industry.

The placement opportunities in the college are excellent it depends on you how good your behaviour is there during course period and how good is you academic performance of you have will to learn noone will stop you in HIHT from growing.

The fee structure was like you can pay whole ammount at once or you can pay the amount in installments also. The fees for whole course was 300000 approx of which u can get discount if you pay whole amount at once.

The annual function and fresher party was celebrated together every year and all the students participate in different cultural activities according to their individual talents like singing dancing hosting the event etc.

I chose to study in this college because of their excellent placement opportunities from industrial exposure to job placement they will give opportunities to every student to sit for the interviews of luxury 5 star hotels.

The exams were conducted twice in every semester the course consisted of three semesters. The final examination was held at the end of every semester and different subjects in every semester and the final semester examination in hardest among all.

The night life around campus was not that much active as people sleep early due to cold weather but you can always get a beautiful view from your window or from outside the campus of mountains and houses built there with beautiful lights.
