Remarks

The College is altogether a good place to learn. It has the best atmosphere and weather conditions to learn. It is very welk bonded with the nature. The staffs and faculties are excelkent. The hostel and food are also nice, and it is the best place to live if you are a environmentalist.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The College function under the Kalam Technical University (KTU). The course has been revised in 2019 and the current curriculum is more student friendly and have loosened unwanted burden from the students. It has become more easy and yet effective. You may have 8 semesters in a course. 2 semesters in an academic year. So 4 years to finish your course. Each semester also has internal marks for which series exams, assignments, projects, labs, and attendence are considered. At the end of the semester an university exam is also conducted. Your final mark is calculated based on your internal marks as well as university exam marks for each semester. Attendence can easily give you internal marks. So its a good thing to have

Placement Experience

5

Our College has an active placement cell. Almost 90% of our students gets placed every year. Even our College hosts placement drives for some major companies. We have a 3 month internship gap during the 6th semester. This helps students to do an internship without hindering the syllabus. There are also organisations like ASAP working with the College providing endless opportunities. As far as stipend goes, it truly depends on the students. Some may opt for free internships while some others may get a well stipended internships. We also encourage students to take part in hackathons and other IEEE programs as well

College Events

4

We celebrate all festival events like onam, christmas, etc We also have our IEEE event called EVENSIA and our flagship IEEE event called KAIZEN. Apart from that ELECTRA is also conducted as part of IEEE PES committee. These all are technical events. Students from all over the nation attend these events We successfully conducted our own College's technical event named JIGNASA. Our College also has a grand cultural event called ILIAD. Its a College event and lasts around 5 to 10 days.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee stucture is very feasible under merit section and management sections. Above that you can avail fee waivers and other scholarships. You can literally study without any fees if your are well merited or are from economically backward communities.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee waiver is a good scheme in which top 3 students from each branch are selected based on their KEAM rank and are given full scholarship for their tuition fees (35000). Our College also supports all scholarship schemes whether private or government

Campus Life

3.5

We have an amazing array of labs for each branch. The lab facility is to be noted. We all have NSS camps and activiyies based to it. NSS is a national scheme under which students do certain social and environmental activities. It also ensure upliftment of the society. We also have College based activities to socialize with the communities around. Sports is a bit lacking in the College as it does not have enough infrastucture for it. Though it has a good amount of sportsmen and staffs for it, it lacks infrastructure. Sports day and games are also conducyed as year wise competitions

Hostel Facilities

4

Hadtel infrastucture is amazing. It only costs around 4000 per month including hostel and mess bill. Its a shared room, with around 3 to 6 peaple in a room. Its its spacious enough. The food at the mess is also very nice.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes we have an Alumini group who work hard to uplift the College. Our alumini group has a vast reach and also helps fund the College. They also conduct interactive sessions wuth the aluminis to help learn more about their experience and about the College. The help to improve the College.

Admission

There are 3 types of seats in my College. 1) You can write KEAM entrance examination and get merit listed into this College my keeping it in your preference list 2)Similarly a much bigger list for management seats are also provided for students who did not perform well in KEAM. Students who did not get seats in merit list can apply for management seats. It is a bit more expensivein terms of fees. 3) There are NRI seats too which can be availed directly by contacting the College authorities. Fees in this is higher compared to the rest. I got into this institution after writing the KEAM entrance examination and got shortlisted in the merit list.

Faculty

4

The faculty in this College are the best. They show their passion towards their job. They are most friendly yet authoritative in their work. They create a unique friendly bond with everyone. Each and every faculty is also very much educated in their fields, that is they are well qualified.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
