Universal engineering College is an avarage College with slightly above avarage academic and below avarage extracurricular activities even though I'm having a good time right now and somehow happy I'm not regreting Enything

Course Curriculum Overview

Good it had less fees then the other Colleges and had a great lab but the faculties are less satisfying though and also have some unwanted laws which are not required it is an average College to study and below average College to enjoy I suggest this College who having good academic not the one having average academic but some teachers work hard and be as an exception

No placement only for the cse students which I'm not there are some which is nothing but show faculties are less satisfying though and also have some unwanted laws which are not required it is an average College to study and below average College to enjoy I suggest this College who having good academic not the one having average academic but some teachers work hard and be as an exception

The events celebrated are arts day sports day and tech fest also other small festivals but they are not massive enough though because the total strength is comparatively less and participation is less tooo

The influence was great they was good seniors no raging or other stuffs occurred we were good friend some of them are still friends they were good seniors and the influence us in some manner they were good though

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Main companies visiting the campus are IBM , TCS ,TATA ELXSI,L&T, Cognizant,Toshiba,Vanenburg,Kalkitech,Sobha,Mrf ,Juspay,Dynolt and many more. 70 % students get placement Highest package is 16 lpa and average is 5 lpa After degree higher studies can be considered.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.
