Our college provides large area for students vehicle parking and provides college bus felicity for remote areas also
Best in sports our college is in 8th position in overall University position.we are currently the kattadi University. champions

Dislikes

College infrastructure is not ascetics in looks
The collage campus is not that big and building blocks are also small in size
The college management puts a lot of if the fee payment is delayed

Course Curriculum Overview

Electrical and electronics engineering is one of the toughest field in engineering to study.you will have to invest a lot of time to study and clear all the pappers.exam are not that much difficult but still there are much in analysing and problems.

Class Size: 28Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement are there but not into our core fields. Mainly consulting are recruiting but there are some companies recruiting into core fields.the percent of placements various all year this time it was 60% approximately.

Fees and Financial Aid

College tuition fess varies for different courses and the type of admission you are taken.NRI quata students will have to pay the highest fees and there would be any scholarships and the fess varies from 40k to 100k.if admissions are merit based it will be half of regular fess and also for girls with good marks they are gives 0 tuition fess programs.

Campus Life

Sports facilities and grounds are top class and also oru physical education hod is highly qualified and talented person under his training our students won many titles and awards.now our college is in 8th position in overall university Sports.

Admission

There is no such eligibility according to the entrance marks if you passed 12th then u can get admission in our college and according to your marks the fess structure will be decided.to get the application for you can visit our college the admissions are started now

All teaching and no teaching lectures and staffs are highly supportive and will be there with you for everything for academic and no academics.All lecture are qualified and some of them are even PhD holders excluding HODs. The main attraction of our college is the quality of teaching and overall pass percentage

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Main companies visiting the campus are IBM , TCS ,TATA ELXSI,L&T, Cognizant,Toshiba,Vanenburg,Kalkitech,Sobha,Mrf ,Juspay,Dynolt and many more. 70 % students get placement Highest package is 16 lpa and average is 5 lpa After degree higher studies can be considered.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

Is engineering here worth it?

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
