Remarks
I think they should improve their curriculum and make sure their staff is competent enough. Make sure communication is improved as it is a big negative. There is a lot of problem in this area. They could also improve the infrastructure a little
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum needs to be improved a lot. It should be more practical I think and give more exposure to the students. Exam structure was pretty easy, a few 2 markers, 4 markers and 10 markers. Usually the exams were not that hectic
Placement Experience
The placements were pretty good. Some of the companies that came for placements were EY, KPMG, Accenture, JP Morgan. The average stipend offered was 3 lakhs pa. We also had an internship fair in College in which many start ups were present. It was a really great opportunity for students to get an internship.
College Events
There are always a lot of events taking place in the College, a lot of fest and competitions. The biggest fest of them all is culah. Its a great opportunity for people to work together and create something great. There are also events like dandiya night and balls etc
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure seems a bit high at 1 lakh per annum. I think for a bcom degree it should be much lower. If not lower, they should atleast provide more facilities and internships. They may even include trips in the course if possible.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have no knowledge about this topic but they might have a few options for people with low income or meritorious students as such. They have a few scholarships available for such people. It is also available minorities.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are a pretty big deal here. The library is pretty good and useful. There is a lot of importance given to sports as well. There is a basketball court and a sports committee as well
Alumni/Alumna
I haven't had any such interaction with the alumni but there are programs available to get in touch with them so they can provide you with internships and better details about corporate life as such.
Admission
There was no interview as such. I came to the College after the results were out and immediately got admissions based on my marks. I chose Industry integrated because it seemed like a more interesting option compared to others. It felt like it would give me more practical exposure
Faculty
Most of the faculty seems not qualified or interested in teaching but some of the lecturers are really great and are good at what they do and really makes us want to participate in class and take an active interest in the subjects.
