Remarks
Overall the College is very good. I have not found any negative side in my experience. The most positive side in my eyes is the quality of education. The only negative side i found is some subjects are still not available.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are very nice course carriculam. Almost all subjects in arts and sciences are available. The College is under Burdwan University which is one of the eminent universities in west Bengal, India. The exam structure is semester system. In three years degree courses 6 semester are taken in a year. The labs, research rooms and libraries are also well organized.
Placement Experience
This is a government College and the certificate of the College is very important for job. There are not any direct placements and job opportunities like o engineering Colleges. But with the certificate and the degree which you get from the College will help you to get jobs in private and public sector.
College Events
In every year two grand events are celebrated in this College. The first is for the freshers and second is annual social. In freshers events professors and senior students welcome there newly joined students. Many cultures programs are organized in the both events. Many artists like singers, professional dancers came. Students can also participate in those events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The amount of fee is very minimal because this is a government College. In every 6 or 3 month after a minimal amount is charged. The amount is depend on the subject you choose. But the average amount is not greater than rs 2000
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarship facility is available. If your family is under poverty level the you can get free education and scholarship from the College. For this you must show your valid documents, id proot of you and your parents.
Campus Life
Labs and practical rooms are available. Gym and other sports like cricket and football games are available. The extracurricular activities are very good. Boys are girls can equally take all the facilities.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are available. The hostels are behind the College building. The rooms are very well. If you take the hostel facilities you must pay some extra amount with course fee. Almost 100 rooms are available. In each rooms 4 student can stay.
Alumni/Alumna
My experience with my seniors was very good. They were very helpful. We became good friends. The behavior of every senior student is frank. If anyone behaves inappropriately, you can get help from student unions and teachers.
Admission
The admission process is based on 12 th result. First of all you need to apply online for admission with 12th result details. Then merit list will come out. 1. First after every 12 th board exam the admission process starts 2. Search on Google Burdwan raj College official website. Then choose your course and apply online. 3. In a particular date the 1st merit list will come out. If you're selected then go to the College on the day of admission and pay the fee.
Faculty
The minimum faculty to teach a particular course is M.A in that subject and must be NET. qualified. But it is better to have a phd. Degree. Because education quality is extremely high. All professors who teach there is highly experienced. The notice of vacancies publish on website when any teaching post is vacant.
