Yes. This course is very relevant nowadays. UGC provided a guideline through whivh our syllabus was construcyed by university where the complete 3rd year syllabus was based on application of physics, chemistry and mathematics alias industry science. It provides us a complete industry specific knowledge. In any ug colleges under calcutta university, there are no facilities of on campus placements available to students. No industrial visits were organized for the students.

Our college celebrate pan-religion festivals around the year. Amid that college fest, departmental freshers are also celebrated. We also celebrate teacher's day on a grand attire. Every departments organize seminars on various topics every now and then.

Yes. I have applied for Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship. This scholarship scheme is run by West Bengal Government. Students, securing 75% marks in higher secondary exam can apply for this scheme and will get Rs. 21000 per annum. I applied online, downloaded form and printed and signed by principal. Ob the other hand, I collected my father's income certificate and domicile certificate from honourable district magistrate of my district. I collected an affidavit declaring my domicile, marks and father's income from court. Submitted all the documents to Bikash Bhawan, Kolkata.

Gender ratios are same. Student union is very very helpful. It is pan-religion college. Political agendas do not hamper our studies. This college doesn't discriminate any one on the basis of caste, creed, race, religion, sex or economic criteria. I got admission in this college in 2017. This college has a high reputation in the district. I opt for this course because I had interest on it. I filled up the form by online on 2nd june 2017. Merit list was published on the basis of marks in 12th boards exam on july and on the basis of merit list, the whole admission process was completed by 12th august 2017.

Each and every department of our college has almost 6-7 permanent faculties, 3-4 guest lecturers and 3-4 non teaching staffs. Most of them are mid-aged. They are highly educated, most of them have degrees of either foreign reputed universities or eminent institutiona of India. They provide us quality lectures.
