Remarks

Should consider and provide equal opportunity to all types of students and from all branches.

Entrance Preview

COMEDK,84 marks, One of the best colleges of Bangalore where every department is good and have a studious environment for persuing the study.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Mechanical stream. It is just two year before this branch has been introduced, So overall it is quite new. But as the college is good, They are making their best effort to bring this branch to the best. So we can say that after 2-3 years this will be the best college for mechanical in Bangalore and hope so in Karnataka.

Internships Opportunities

Not yet. But they are trying to communicate with some of the good companies for the internship progaramme for the upcoming batches which will be beneficial for them.

Placement Experience

1.5

Good placement as per IT point if view. Not good for mechanical students. But is one of the best college for Computer science, Electronics and communication, Information science and instrumentation and technology. So we can say one should opt this college for these branches for best placement in IT companies.

College Events

2.5

There are plenty of event takes place in our college. Every year they along with the students use to organise various types of cultural as well as technical fest. Like parichay, panteon and many others. EUTOPIA is organise for hostel students. It is a seven day fest which is a refresh for the hostel students and the new students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is very expensive. Every thing is good but the fee is not feasible for non Karnataka students. It is approximately 1.5 lacs per annum for B.E. which is one of the most expensive fee structure for that particular course. This is not reachable for middle class people. So the fees should controlled by the management.

Fees and Financial Aid

No. But they accept the fees through loans and also consider installments. No scholarships is being provided by the college, but for the karnataka students there are various scholarships.

Campus Life

2.5

Nice environment for study. Extracurricular activities are taken care of and also there are programmes for techology like robotics and also various other technical activities which encourages the student to participate. In the fest, there are various sports and debate related events.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Hostel facilities are good but mess food is horrible as far as lunch and dinner is concerned. This is the main reason for leaving the hostel for nort infian students inspite of good environment and wifi and other facilities. The food is of south indian ty

Alumni/Alumna

They were helpful and friendly us. Currently also we are connected and use to meet. As they are busy with their jobs so the meeting is not so frequent.

Exam Structure

Internal test in every month and external test in the end of semester. Internal is hectic as two internal in a day which led to scoring of poor marks.Lab internal is during the regular class and gor lab external a separate arrangement is being made by the

Faculty

2.5

The faculty of this college is average, I can't say very good. This is because they have more theoretical knowledge rather than practical analysis. They just stick to the syllabus as prescribed by the Visveswaria Technical University (VTU) So one can majo

The courses are very nice since it is an autonomous college the courses have been designed to provide the students with knowledge of the latest technology and the need of the hour. Placement Experience:

The institute records an impressive average package of ~INR 7.20 LPA and the highest packages reaching up to INR 53.50 LPA. The college actively drives employability through a dedicated 'Talent Transformation Hub'. Campus Placements Overview CIT is known for its solid industry connections, resulting in 80–90% placement rates annually. Top Recruiters: Companies like Accenture, Infosys, HP, Amazon, and Samsung. The Process: The placement cell conducts specialized skill-building boot camps and provides structured mentorship to ensure students are corporate-ready by graduation. If Placements Fall Short: Employability & Alternative Plans Even though CIT consistently places the vast majority of its batch, students who do not secure on-campus job offers (or wish to pursue other paths) have robust support through: Startup & Entrepreneurial Initiatives: CIT has an active E-Cell and a business connection to help budding founders. The Talent Transformation Hub focuses on practical knowledge needed to start a business. This is the best part. The whole point of niat program is to get a study for the job. It's not like the old system where you chill for 3 years and panic in the 4th year. All the learning here are very different. From the first day itself we will be doing coding.
