Entrance Preview

IIT JEE, the guys made me believe that this course in this particular college is the best, so i went forward and took this course of study.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is awesome, even the faculties are good too. Though the college is new, (estd 2008), thus few faculties are very new to this job, and are not well experienced, which sometimes create a rift between the students and the teacher.

Placement Experience

Placement, is good, but not all the time, placement is happening, butsomething is always better than nothing.

College Events

No college festivals, annual day, ethnic day are the events in the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships only for the Minority classes.

Campus Life

Campus life sucks. They keep on introducing stupid rules inside the campus, sometimes not using the mobile phone, Otherwise they will confiscate it, to sometimes the security guard would be advised not to let the students outside the gate until n unless the college hours are over.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel foods, all over India, is worst, but still Food is Food, for surviving we need it, fees are reasonable.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum has the necessary subjects of the branch...It is constantly updated every year to adhere to relevancy and comphrehensiveness of the course..My department of AIML teaches us the necessary computer subjects such as Nature Inspired computing, Deep learning etc and also the Maths and Stats whch is required for machine learning is though too ( Like Maths for machine learn and statistical modellign, inferential statistics, time series analysis etc)..These subjects also have lab components which help us prepare for real-world applications. But some of the older subjects on the other hand which might be core computer science or in first year..common subjects like CAED and others are not required and outdated. The frequency and timings of exams is moderate..neither good nor bad

My Real Experience as a First Year DSAI Student at IIIT Dharwad

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th sem. The highest on campus package this year was around 64 LPA, while as far as I know, the top 20% of the students usually get offers in the 16-24LPA range. The overall placement rate is good, but results depend a lot on your skills and practice

Though i needed cse with cybersecurity but i didnt get it so i went with Robotics and ai. In first year they have many subjects of all course which are basic and fundamentals of all branches Some are good in real world application They should add more practical stuff then theories We have 1 to 1½ month gap betwen internals and some 10 days gap between 2nd internal and sem difficult level varies every year

truths about VVIT college

I didn't choose this college but the government has given me the college * I wrote my KCET and got this college in KCET which i could not resist. * Starting I thought this college would be good but coming to this colleges proves me wrong and disspoints me to be in this college * I had thought to do other course than engeneering and wanted to go jyoti nivas college , christ universites like top colleges in banglore but i got seat in KCET and got this college but the course which i got made me to choose this college, I got AI-ML course in this college, I got the course I wanted till then i was happy and exciting but after visiting the college I was dissappointed * I didn't apply for other colleges because I wanted a government seat for the course i wanted and I had no choice over other colleges beacause i already got in vvit which is government seat. * I didn't get rejections in any colleges beacause i didn't apply for any. * Admission process for my college is through KCET or JEE and management seat available My overall admission processes was very painful and now I think that i should have selected a better college than this and I still regret that i chose this college but in the end not everything is our hands....Read More
