My four years were pretty smooth and I did not find any flaw as such in college management.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is continuously updated as per industry standards. All the latest tech is being tried to inculcate in the syllabus through certification courses, guest lectures, and research. The final year students are more pushed to do this up-gradation courses so that they become more industry-ready. Moreover, for 3rd-year students, there are some integrated for complete 2 years, which are been looked upon by college and soon will be inculcated in the curriculum.
Placement Experience
The college curriculum is based on a sandwich pattern in which students undergo an internship in one of the semesters. The entire semester s dedicated to the internship. There are a plethora of opportunities provided to students during the internship.
College Events
The college organizes a variety of fests. It holds a technical fest, wherein every branch has the responsibility to do something new. Every year the tech fest has something new and interesting to offer. It never lets us down. Then there is that largest fest of the college called Reverb. It offers all types of talents to come forward and show the other side apart from studies. Dance, Drama, Songs, DJ, Bands, comedy..and the list continues.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure might appear expensive at first sight but I must say its worth what you are paying for. The hostel, the mess, the campus it's just amazing. The college has no hard and fast rules for payment of the fee. Mostly the fee is paid online. There is absolute transparency in the fee break down.
Fees and Financial Aid
No did not opt for any scholarship or education loan. Yes, the college offers scholarships to the top rankers.
Campus Life
If I need to describe the campus life in millennial lingo I would just say its lit. There are a variety of clubs and sports facilities on the campus. It is difficult for anyone to sit idle. There are so many extracurricular activities going on. There are different clubs- Student f1 racing team, robotics club, debate club, trekking club...so on.
Alumni/Alumna
There is a regular alumnus meet every year. They are very friendly and helpful. We continuously in touch with them. They guide us accordingly based on their shortcomings and failure
Admission
Mechanical engineering is my passion. Symbiosis is a brand and quality is what they focus on. So SIT was an obvious choice. The admission process during my time was very hassle-free and easy going. There were volunteers and teachers who made it so easy.
Faculty
As of now, in my department almost every professor has completed their PhD. They are not too old. Everyone in their mid 30's. Yes, there are more experienced professors too with an experience of 15+ years. The teachers always use interactive techniques which by default increase the clarity. The teachers are also involved in industry projects as well.
