I took the JEE mains, got a total of 58 marks, an AIR of around 4 lakh. The college had a quota for ST students, thus in subsequent rounds, got into Software Engineering. I chose DTU over any other college firstly because it was within 5 Kilometers of my house, and the second reason being its reputation and ranking in the top ten colleges of India. Actually, I could not have thought of me getting into it, its awesome.

Being in the first year, I haven't experienced any. But read on the newspaper that Google, Facebook, etc do come here.

Placements and job opportunities is the main reason why DTU is chosen by many. Placements generally give lots of chances, but if you miss, the name of the college lands you somewhere.

Freshers week: For the freshers, a week of events and competitions fir the freshers and others as well Engifest: The main fest of DTU, famous personalities perform, the food and drinks are sponsored by Domino's, Pizza Hut and Pepsi respectively. Big budget and really entertaining.

Gender ratio seems unbalanced, more boys than girls. The girls arent given that much of respect according to me, and that seems to be the case in ask engineering colleges. The diversity is really amazing here, with students from all around India and the world, still, there are no problems regarding this. I have seen confessions upon the fb page of many being gay, but I didn't notice any people freely accepting or showing that, it is sad that literate people fear to express themselves. At the end, the place seems to be full of the rich and upper middle class people, flashing their mobiles and using English alot.

The seats in hostels are few, the students who live in Delhi within some decided radius are almost obvious to not get a seat. 2 students share a room. The internet has blazing fast speeds in the hostel, around 4 Mbps.The PGs are very easily available, aff

For us, seniors of the college are no problem, no ragging, no unnecessary show of power or anything. Many don't even behave like seniors. They call us "bhai", or " dost", etc. No senior made me feel bad or anything. Seniors here are nice.

The faculty is to be honest, not up to the mark. Students hold back questions as professors aren't able to clear the tougher doubts, we trust the book more, as a result. Studies here are more centered on marks and not on the interest or understanding. Sti
