Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is fully research-driven and fair. The course is designed in a way that it will definitely help students to solve real-life problems. VIT implemented FFCS (Fully flexible credit system) that means you can choose any faculty for any subject from whom you want to study and you can choose timings of lecture according to yourself that means if you are a night owl and don't want to attend morning lectures then you can choose the afternoon slots or evening slots for that same lecture from that same faculty
Placement Experience
Placements are fantastic in VIT. This year(2020) the average package is around 7.25 lac/yr - it is the average of all the branches. For computer science, the average is around 8.5 lac/yr. Believe me, if you are doing CSE from VIT you don't have to worry about the placements. The highest package as per 9th January 2020 was 42 lac/yr given by Microsoft to 7 students.
College Events
Our most amazing fest- RIVIERA. it's a cultural fest and comes at 5th position in India's biggest cultural fest lists. GraVITas is our technical fest. Both the fests are really great and attract many international participants also. This year riviera had participants from 750+ universities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
the fee structure is feasible. it depends on how many ranks you got so if you want to take admission in category 1 then you have to secure rank above 3000 for computer science engineering. It can get a little expensive if you move to category 5 but trust me taking admission into VIT even in the 5th category is worth it.
Fees and Financial Aid
VIT provides scholarships to board toppers and top rankers in VITEEE. if you get above 100 ranks in VITEEE you will get some discount on tuition fee.
Campus Life
VIT's Campus is one of the most beautiful and biggest campuses in India. No doubt Infrastructure is world-class with everything you want. Labs are fully equipped. In terms of infrastructure, I don't think any college can beat VIT in India. There are 150 chapters and clubs in VIT.
Alumni/Alumna
VIT's alumni base is really strong that includes graduates who are now at the top of many multinational firms. Seniors are really helpful and will guide you during your college years.
Admission
You have to give the VITEEE exam to get into VIT. To get the computer science branch you need to secure ranking above 5000. My counseling experience was so good the counseling process was easy plus perfectly managed everything was crystal clear mentioned and was hassle-free. And believe you will get to know how prestigious is VIT during the counseling process there are literally thousands of student who wants to get admission in VIT.
Faculty
The faculty of VIT is really good and helpful. they help their students with everything. all faculties are highly qualified and have in-depth knowledge you their subject. the way of teaching is also great. all the faculties teach in a concept-driven manner.
