College review

It is an average college.avergae placements and average teachers. Moreover the extracurricular activities are not very much supported. Hence not a very flashy environment,neither a very dull one. Location is one major drawback.

The college follows IPU exam curriculum. It has semester system and University exams are held once in 6 months and internal exams also take place. 40 marks are the minimum passing marks (out of 100) where 25 are internal and 75 are external.

There were many opportunities provided to us for internship. various companies were invited for the internship after second year and there were around 6-7 companies that were there in campus for the placements. Apart from that the TPO was very much helpful in arranging interviews for the left out students also.

Technical fests occur every year. Plus a cultural festival also takes place every year. Its a good level event with a good sponsers and participation level is also good. All types of competetions like fashion parade,dance competition, one act play, skits and all types of competetions.

The fee structure is as per the IPU curriculum. An yearly fee of approx 90000 rs and also an yearly bus fee of 25000 rs. The fee hikes as per IP curriculum and no additional charges except tge examination fee.

There is a dramatic society and also a cultural club in the college and girls and boys are fairly represented. Further there is a ground (not too big) where one can follow the sports of their choice however there is not much enthusiasm about sports.

I have never befire interacted with the college alumni network and hence don't have any idea regarding their utility. There were other people to help like many teachers etc so it wasn't felt the need to interact with the alumunus.

I got in through ipu enterance exam. The college had a good transport service available and a good placement record that made me choose it. I had pre decided rge course that I had to take but I chose HMR because of the distance between my place and the college.

College faculty was overall average. Few teachers were exceptionally good with unique teaching methods and were very much interested to teach and clear our doubts. But these were only few.others were just average or below average who were not readily available for students.
