Remarks

Positive. Campus is big, green, Quiet, Clean, Lots of facility in hostel like Inside Gym, Canteen, Garden, Sports Field and outside hostel Like Library, Cyber library, CCD Cafeteria, a Temple, a Lake. Negative. Little Political Influenced in the Arts Faculty side

There are 3 types of Exams in MBBS. One the Professional Examination or you can call the External Annual Examination. Second the Semester Exams and the Third Weekly or monthly examination. Which also include exams by the Patient bedside inside Hospital during Ward posting in various wards of The Sir Sundarlal Hospital IMS BHU. I think this system is perfect you learn theory apply practical knowledge.

Placement Experience

Yes, Every student who pass the 4. 5 years MBBS course has to complete mandatory 1 year Internship in various wards in The Sir SundarLal Hospital. For Further studies student apply for NEET-PG, AIIMS PG, PGI, USMLE or PLAB etc. After MBBS they can also apply for job in various Hospital and they get a minimum of 60,000 in North India and a minimum of 40,000 in South India. But if apply for job after 3 year PG course they get a minimum of 100,000 per Month.

College Events

IMS BHU organise a fest called ELIXIR which is being held from year 1985 in March every year. It is a 3 day fest which includes Cultural Night, DJ Night, a celeb night and many small games that include T-shirt paint, pebble paint, dance, singing, band, online games like PUBG, CS:GO, MM.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its very cheap as it is a Government college the fee is fairly low 14,876 As for year 2019-20 for 1st year and 8,000 for 2nd 3rd 4th year each. This fee include Hostel fee, College fee, University Health center fee (Free medical checkup for all students), University library fee (You can go to The Central University Library, Cyber library or the Faculty Library), Gym fee (Free 24Hr gym inside campus).

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is extremely low but if you still wish for Scholarship it is available only for students who have a family income less than 200,000 pa. You are given forms for Scholarship which you fill and submit.

Campus Life

There is always something for everyone. Is you are a Book person you can always visit the library. For hard Sports person there are 7 Sports field with Equipment for Cricket, football, Basketball, Tennis, Table tennis, Badminton, Squash, Polo, Hockey. There is also a Central Gym for Bodybuilding and Martial Arts. The Campus is very spacious with proper roads and University Proctor Guard at every corner. The campus is very safe even at night, Never heard of any mishap during 3 years. People form different Background and Country study here and live with respect. Some political influence is there but if you dont want to be involved you remain unaffected totally.

Hostel Facilities

There are in total 7 hostels. 4 for Boys and 3 for Girls. For boys there are Single a room hostel or Double a room hostel. Rooms are plenty. Hostel is spacious and clean with garden and Trees all over. Water purifier in every floor and minimum 2 Mess in every hostel (My hostel has 3 mess). There are Dry and Wet canteen. The hostel is guarded by University proctorial Guard 24X7. I sometimes leave my room open and never even a penny has been stolen. Every hostel has free BHU-WIFI which gives you 4GB/Day internet at 50MBPS (50MBPS Download speed). Room is cleaned by sweeper everyday between 7-8 AM. Air Conditioner are restricted. Hostel fee is included in the college fee you have to pay for Mess according how many days you ate.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni and Senior are next to professors. They teach you everything from Which book to buy, What to study, How to Learn bike, How to Manage Patients, Different Tricks etc. Alumni give priorities to us. When we go for any checkup they call us first and give proper attention. I sometimes ask for lending a bike and seniors always provide me. Every time I ask patient management and they teach us. This Senior Junior Healthy Interaction feels Bliss.

Admission

The exam is through NEET-UG Common medical examination. And according to merit, seats are filled by counselling by MCC. Then we take the allotment certificate to the respective colleges in a fixed time interval and after submitting Fee (In IMS, BHU Fee is 14,000 for an year) and Documents that are • Migration Certificate from school • 10th marksheet • Character Certificate • Rank letter • Cast Certificate (For Reserved Candidates) • Allotment letter. After this you are given Schedule for classes and a Hostel room (if you opt for it).

Faculty

IMS BHU is one of the most prestigious institute of India and its faculty is one of the best. And are highly qualified. They all are Doctors and have a teaching experience of minimum 10 years. Most of the Faculty have devoted themselves for this Institute. Government of India spend crores of Rupee for this Institute as it is a Central University.

When I was in 2nd class then on report card I have to write which is your aim in future or what you want to become in future . Then there I I choose that I want to become a doctor and from then I I have dream that I become eligible doctor . Second doctor is very noble profession and it is my honour that I am serving the people and save the lives of the people . This profession teaches me a lot like how to cope with the situations and how to react very quickly in every situation . It help us to improve our skills and also our mental health and makes a strong mentally and emotionally .. I should suggest that there is a improvement in online lectures also provided for the MBBS course because there is little bit difficulty in the college to go there and study there because some scarcity of faculties in the college so qualitative education is not provided as it should be provided. The MBBS course offers four exams which are little bit hard to clear and there is little difficulty in clearing the exam. The timing of the exam is from 9:00 a.m. to 12 p.m.. The terminal occurs at the gap of 3 months while the pre professional exam and the professional exam occur at the gap of 1 month.
