Remarks
Placement for mechanical and civil is very less compared to others and overall it is a good college. Apart from that expensive college and academics is good.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course and curriculum are good. It is an autonomous college so doesn't have to follow entire VTU syllabus rather it is tailored syllabus. We have 4 exams of which 3 are internals and a final semester exam. And also two lab exams if any, each seems there are around 6-7 subjects and 1-2 labs, 5 days a week college and informal dress, till now they have I had 3 industrial visits, about placement for mechanical very fewer companies visit but for computer science engineering a good number comes every year.
Placement Experience
Placements for mechanical engineering and civil engineering is very less around 4-5 companies visited in 2020 but for other branches it's is better.
College Events
There are several events that are constantly held in our college, the events are individually held by the different branches. There are also many events arranged by the college faculties and also inform us if there is any in other colleges also. We conduct REVA FEST called Revamp every year but I didn't find it exciting.
Fee Structure And Facilities
There are 3 types of fee structure the 1st is through direct admission which is very very expressive and a middle-class family can't afford, 2nd is through an exam conducted by University if cleared some amount is decreased and the third category is mine that is through Entrance exam like KCET, apart from that SC/ ST students get the scholarship and also have to pay exam fee around 4000 every sem therefore expensive college.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, since I am a General category, I don't get any kind of support even though you perform well, but if you belong to SC/ST/OBC then you do get some amount.
Campus Life
Campus life is great, good gender ratio and also events are held constantly, well-equipped labs and ANTI RAGGING campus, The green campus is one of the top factors to attract a crowd to the college and they have well-maintained buildings and a huge playground but is occupied most of the times for competitions.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni's can be in contact through our college website and All the final year students are required to give the details on alumni form to stay in contact with them.
Admission
Since I was always fascinated to know about machines and automobiles which led me to choose Mechanical engineering as my professional career. Reva University was suggested by one of my school teachers and a neighbour which got me to search about it and found to be a big University which would provide all facilities and knowledge and I was also informed about good placement but which was not right specifically for mechanical students.
Faculty
1 faculty for each subject, a mentor and class coordinator, both young and experienced faculties exist, qualified Mtech and PhD holders we also have faculties who are still pursuing their PhD and teaching, faculties use both board and projectors to deliver their lectures.
