Remarks
No negative remarks about the college. Our college is overall a good world of living in itself. We enjoy here a lot, altough we miss home but it totally seems like a home away from home. There are positive remarks about this college as this college never stays back in helping and supporting the students.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is a little vast here but everything seems good because you get a lot of time to prepare yourself for the examination. There are 4-5 subjects in every semester and that takes 2 internals before the semester exams.
Placement Experience
Our college placement scenario is getting better every year. A lot of IT comapny comes to pick the students from this college like infosys, TCS(tata consultancy services), wipro, Accenture, byjus and etc. Our college doesn't provide internship, you have to do that by your own.
College Events
There are many events that are organized in our college through out the year. Cultural events consists of dancing, painting, singing, writing, poetry and drama. Technical events consists of robo war, decathlon, robo racing, water war and etc There are DJ nights in our college that brings the celebrities of Bollywood to the gates of our colleges.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure here is not that hight its very feasible comparing to other colleges in our country. The fees structure here is like: 42000 per semester 6000 per semester of hostel The mess or the canteen here is a little different than rest of the colleges. Here the function of the mess is like what you eat you have to pay for it. And the day you won't eat you dont have to pay. So the average mess bill that comes is around 2500 per month.
Fees and Financial Aid
I personally Don't know about any kind of scholarship or loan facility that our college provide. May be they are providing but I don't have a single idea about that because in my friends group i know none of them have availed any facilities like that.
Campus Life
There are laboratory in our college, around 20 laboratories of 20 different subjects that include mechanical lab, electrical lab, electronics lab, computer lab, software lab, bio lab, engineering drawing lab, physics lab etc. Sports day is organised in our college every year. Many students participate in the many sports event like running, high jump, long jump, javellin throw, hammer throw, shot put etc.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel here is overall good in terms of infrastructure. The rooms here are big and it accmodates 4 person in one room in the first year. Although from 2nd year the amount of person in your reduces because the room gets a bit smaller. There are 6 boys hostel here and 4 girls hostel here.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors here are quite helpful and they never stay back for helping you, you just need to ask for their help and they will help you either its a help from course, or any kind of extra curricular activities. They will help you in any way possible.
Admission
I got admission in my college through west bengal joint entrance examination. I got 9873 rank in the examination and i choose this college for my 4 year B.tech programme from computer science branch as i was having interest in that field. When i came to this college for admission we sat in a room full of computers enrolling our names in the college.
Faculty
Our faculty here is good. They help us in our studies even after classes and they solve our doubts on phones also. They are very friendly in nature and at the same time maintain the decorum of being a teacher.
