Remarks

The college management is very good. All the notices and decisions taken by the principal are properly informed. Bad remarks would be a low campus area.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The college is a part of Mumbai University and follows the curriculum given by MU. The college promotes technical learning a lot by conducting various workshops, competitions and project expos which in turn helps in growing the technical skills of students. This is the reason why TSEC students are in one of the top companies and the on-campus placement records are rising day by day.

Placement Experience

4.5

Companies like BIG 4 namely EY, Deloitte recruit students of TSEC every year. Also, JPMC, Quantify, TCS, Infosys, Deutsche Bank, Amazon are the ones coming to campus. Most of the companies are for the technical background but some are for management too. The college conducts internship opportunities and placement training to train the students for placements.

College Events

4.5

One of the biggest cultural fests of TSEC is Trifles which is a 3-day fest and has a footfall of around 10000 people. Other fests of the students' council is avalanche which a welcome fest for freshers of college. There are other committees also which conduct technical fests, sports, social service and hackathons as well.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite feasible compared to other colleges in Mumbai. The college provides a detailed breakdown of fees and no extra fee is charged for the admission. The payment mode is RTGS or DD payment. Also, people having caste benefits or having income below 8 LPA can avail the benefits of EBC.

Fees and Financial Aid

No. I was not eligible to avail any scholarship and the college does not offer scholarships but the SBc department of college informs the lower economical class about the scholarships.

Campus Life

4

The college is a sindhi minority college which is why the majority of the crowd is a Sindhi crowd. The gender ratio is approximately 40:60 for girls:boys. The labs are fully equipped with all the required facilities. Many competitions related to various branches are conducted which lead to the overall development of the students.

Alumni/Alumna

The training placement officer organizes an alumni meet every year where all the seniors and alumni of the college are invited and students get an opportunity to interact with them.

Admission

Being from a computer background, I wanted to pursue computer engineering and seeing the placement records of TSEC, I opted for Computer Engineering in TSEC. The admission was based on my CET score and I got admission through CAP round 4. The college also promotes technical learning as well as management skills through enrollment in various committees. The cultural fests are something worth participating. All these factors made me choose TSEC.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty here is very supportive in intercollegiate competitions and the lectures and practicals conducted in colleges. They help resolve doubts and even promote making new amateur projects which help in increasing the skills of an individual. Many students even publish papers in coordination with teachers here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
