Remarks

College is overall good and we enjoyed and studied well and we have a good time in our college our friends which become family are now a separable part of our life college give us a best place to live

Course Curriculum Overview

Civil is good and we passed exams just before one night study passing exam is easy but topped the exam is tough you should have the full knowledge of the subject and moreover you have completed the whole syllabus

Job and placement are present for the computer science engineering course electrical engineering course information technology engineering course electronics and tele communication engineering course mechanical and civil engineering course I do not participate in placement

College Events

Every branch has its own technical events Civil conduct events on the basis of branch mechanical events are related to machines electronic events are related to robotics computer event are related to programming

Fee Structure And Facilities

Little expensive as our college is autonomous and it can increase it's own fee according to its own. Now the each branch pays about 39000 and information technology pays about 47000 and the biomedical engineering pays about 48000

Fees and Financial Aid

The college does not provide any scholarship but the college give time to such student to pay the fee whose condition is poor or whose fee depends on the scholarship. But college didn't give any scholarship or fee concession

Campus Life

Gender ratio is good no discrimination on the basis of caste sex or religion and moreover sports are good in our college our college has almost all sports and from our college teams goes for the states

Alumni/Alumna

Our college alumuni are good and network is good wherever problem arises we consult them and help us in all ways and in the college senior junior interaction is good as one should know about their senior and vice versa

Admission

One should have to clear the jee mains and the rest is the councelling the admission in our college is based on the merit or rank of the student and category of the student gives benefit as the general student have to score more for this

Faculty

Our college faculty are good and they are phd holders from the best iits they know the knowledge of their subjects and they deliver it nicely and once you have doubt they clear it very nicely and thank you

SGSITS: JUST A BIG BRAND

Placement Experience:

At the end of 2nd year, companies like goldman sachs comes to take interns. For placements students become eligible from 6th or 7th semester. In recent years goldman sachs is the biggest recruiter, oracle and Deloitte have also recruited, other firms like tcs and infosys also come. Giants like Amazon and google have stopped visiting since few years. Last year highest package was 72 lpa to an ece student. Average lies around 8 lpa. In tech branch 70-80% students are placed. In lower branches 50-60% students are placed. My plan is also to get placed at a decent package after completion of course.

The college have good placements as far as I got to know. The highest package was 8500000 lpa last year and average package was 1900000 lpa. My plan after the degree is to get god job in ECE cire company.

LIFE IN MITS-DU

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to get placed and many companies visits every year for placement and approx 60-70% students gets placement every year.As per my knowledge there is no company which has made no offer.Average package is about 6-7 lakhs per annum.My plan is to take good package from on campus placement drive.If I am unable to get this then I will try for off campus placement and I also want to do MTECH after graduating.

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. The average package is up to the 6 LPA. After completing my degree I am planning To join a good company of the mechanical branch which helps me in building my career in the core engineering field.

I applied for IET davv but I kept it as second preference in MP dte counselling. Other options available for me were some IIITs and lower branches in NITs but I wanted to go for IT sector. Now reason for me for choosing this college was it was slight better than iet and slight lower than IIITs but fees of IIITs was very high, So I didn't applied for them. When I applied for sgsits suddenly they increased their fees. I had no option left other than iet or taking sgsits, but in between confusions and dilemma I choosen sgsits by suggestions of relatives and other elders. Admission process is done through MP dte counselling, based on jee mains rank. Cutoff of general category for IT branch is about AIR 45,000. The college is good in terms of placement and development of students

I have applied to many nits and I got seat in NIT bhopal in electronics and communication branch. But I chose Sgsits cse over nit bhopal ece because I wanted to pursue my career in cse and I have no interest in ece. The admission process of the college is easy . First filling of application through date and then if we get seat we have to report college for the final admission process which is just of 1-2 hours and after fee submission your admission is confirmed.
