Review of Central Institute of technology Kokrajhar

Positive remark is that faculties are well qualified and of friendly behavior. If any student complains about any issues, college authorities uesd to solve it nicely. Negative remark is that it is located in little bit remote area.

All the lab classes are so interesting. I never feel bored in lab or theory classes. In one semester there is two exam that is one mid semester and one is end semester exam. Apart from these two exams teachers uesd to take some class test, quiz etc

Placement and job opportunities are also good here. Every year several good companies comes to recruit students from various departments like iocl, kpcl, nrl etc Our institute has also signed Mou with Ntpc bongaigaon ans ASTU

There are various cultural and technical events are celebrated every year. Techracy is the techno-management festival which is celebrated every year in the month of September in which students present their technical skills. Ecstasy is the cultural festival which is celebrated in the month of February. In ecstasy various bollywood singers comes to perform.

It is one of the cheapest engineering college i have ever seen. Fees for diploma is just 5695 per semester. And for Btech it is just 13745 and mess fee is just 8500 per semester. It is so feasible.

Yes. Institute do provide scholarships to poor students. And loan facilities is also good. Anyone can apply for loan without any intreset rate. If u apply for loan in any bank and want any help from college authorities,they are always there to help you.

Apart from studies institute also supports extracurricular activities. There is a cricket ground, football ground, badminton Court, indoor stadium etc available in the institute. Students diversity is well here. Students from different culture, different languages, different places study together and take part in every activities together. And one very good thing is that institute campus is friendly with girls also. Girls never feel scared to walk alone in campus even in night also.

Infrastructure of hostels are well. In single room there is 2 occupancy. And there is sufficient hostel rooms available in hostel. There is a high speed lan facility is given in every room. Beds and furniture are good.

Seniors are very supportive. They uesd to guide us how to study well and prepare for xams. And once i got a chance to interact with one of the alumni, he was telling us how to prepare for competitive xams after college or how to face a job interview

I have choosen this college because it is Centrally Funded Technical Institute like IIT or NIT. and fees is very very less. To get admission in diploma you will have to appear in entrance exam conducted by college and for Btech you will have to appear in jee mains or entrance exam conducted by institute.

Facilities are very qualified. All the faculties are phd from IIT or NIT and also many are members of Indian as well as foreign research. Faculty used to teach subjects like we students never feel bored of it. They used to present videos to understand the topic better.
