A Detailed Review of My College.

Our College bos a Government college so that people of any economic condition can study there. Our college has a large campus and pur college providwes various couses on ARTS, SCIENCE, COMMERCEOne minor cons about our college os that there website on not updated regularly and the garrage service is much costly.

My course in Honours in English. It has contains lot of things such as histoty of English literature,indian classical literature, European classical literature, British poetry and drama, American literature,polular literature,womens writing,modern European drama etc. Our exam usually conduct 2 times in a year divided into 2 semester. In each semester we have 60 marks external exam and 10 marks internal exam and 5 marks for the attendance.

Our college is a government college. It is situated in hooghly district. our college is not provided with any job offer to the students or companies dont came to us for offering job. Our college doesn't offer any internship. But In our department we have a teacher who act as a guide to the PHD students.

There are several events celebrate in our college. And it is evident that our college is one of the famous gor their cultural programs. every year they conducted a fresher's welcome party. it has concert food and much more. And our college also conduct a college social every year they use to hire celebrity artist to make us happy. Besides our college also conduct seminar on several things.

As our college is government college our fee structure is lowest in comparison to other colleges in our locality. They only charge the selected University feesand a small amount of library fee. Apart from that they dont charge any donation or devolopment fee or anything. when i admitted in college thay only charge 795 rupees for 6 months of course, which is low than any other colleges out there.

As i am not so much conscious about the loan facility but i know about the scholarship. They provided scholarships to minority student and also to the students who got highest marks in their respective subject.

Our college has a structured Student union who help the students in many ways. And i can say they are very helpful towards us, our college has a very large ground in whicj student use to play several sports and our college also provides NCC training to the willing student. College doesn't have any issues regarding religion or sexual orientation and political affairs.

I have not opted for hostel service but i am well aware of the hostel facility. One of our senior brother stay there and he told me about the hostel. The hostel in named kanailal dutta hostel. It is wuite old and heritage building. it is well maintained and well behaved towards the students. The hostel rooms are adequate enough to fit at least 200 student easily. They charge very small amount monthly only 300 rupees. There are also 2 or 3 PG out there and they also serves good service to the students.

Our college alumni is one of the best. They are too much helpful regarding anything. our senior sister and brother are too helpful towards us they help us a lot regarding study also they support us mentally to do rightly. There is no such experience which affect my relationship with my teacher alumnies and seniors.

After i have passed my Higher secondary examination,i have applied for the course, Graduation in English Honours in hooghly Mohsin College. After few days they published a merit list according to the HS marks along with the marks in English. I didn't get any chance in first merit list but after the publication of 2nd merit list i have got my name on it and i went to the college for documents verification. That's how i got admission in my college.

My college is situated in Chinsurah which is under hooghly district. And it is evident that our college is one of the famous college for its faculty. Our English department teachers are so much educated and so much helpful towards us. Each and every teacher have completed their Masters in English and somw of our teachers have the degree of PHD and also MPhil. And one of our respected teacher got a award sikhyaratna for his excellence in study and for this technique of educate students.
