Best college for QA in foods and pharmaceuticals

There is nothing bad or negative about the college or the course that I know of. It all depends on the students studying those who make the environment, the culture of the college good or bad. The students who study there make the college good or bad but Sophia is no doubt very good college

The course is very good which gives the students everything they need to excel the quality assurance feild once they step into the market. It frames them into professionals. The course focused on everything, academic growth, personality development, soft skills etc. Some days it was smooth and some were hectic.

Placement and job opportunities are provided by the department in which the HOD helps a lot. Many companies including food and pharma like Parle agro,skychef, sarjana foods, camlin food products, Novartis, sandoz, Manisha laboratories, blue Cross laboratories etc gives internship as well as job as per the interview and stipend as well depending upon the knowledge.

Many technical cultural management festivals occur like kalaiedoscope in which big shot actors come as chief guests, departmental tests like Anaya and food safety week is celebrated in which khichdi is made as well.

The fee structure for the college for the course of post graduate diploma in quality assurance in foods and pharmaceuticals is eighty eight thousand five hundred rupees including the GST which is for the whole 3 semesters.

No loan is offered in the college but if one wants a loan for their course to be covered they need to go in the bank and then in the office to ask with which bank they are having tie up or whather having or not because thats is the only way to get loan. All I know that quality assurance, my course isn't having the facility of loan.

Yearly sports days is celebrated which takes place in University ground that is in marine lines where different kind of sport takes place. Different for girls and different for boys who are there in the quality assurance department. Also March past takes place in which every class has to take place as it's mandatory for everyone.

The alumni network is very strong the Seniors as well as the alumnis are very helpful with respect to placement or any lectures which are supposed to be taken for the students with respect to their curriculum, in arranging site visits, internships, they help in everything.

As I have an interest in food sector, I was searching course with respect to that and that was the time when my senior told me about this course which is offered only in Sophia college in all over Mumbai. For admission I took the brochure and admission form after which exam date was given, on that day written exam was taken followed by personal interview, group discussion. After some days merit list was put up for the students selected in which I was there as well.

The faculty is extremely qualified and too good in handling and moulding the students into quality persons. Also many guest lectures also happens as per the curriculum and as per the semester which is divided into 3 semesters.
