Great Crowd, good atmosphere, good placements

Simply a best college. And it was my dream to study in that college. When I got admission in that college I feel like my dream was becomes true. And It's amazing to study there. A/C class rooms are best as they give us a brilliant environment to study.

The course is very well structured. The course structure was designed in such a way that we should be ready for working in software industries. The exams and labs were chilled. Curriculum was the perfectly selected by course co-ordinator.

There is 95% placement record during my studies. Yes college provides both final and internship placement. I was selected in yardi software for internship which is in pune but stipend was low 7000. If I will be selected for final placement the package was good, around 4. 5 lacs per annum. but unfortunately I resigned from the job because of some personal problems.

There are many festivals celebrated by the students. Each course students having different festivals but all students celibrates all together. MCA department celebrates a festival named as ICON. It's two day festival. There are many events included in ICON like cricket, football, codehunt and many more.

Course is very expensive. It costs around 4. 5 lacs for three years. It's a three year course. Per year fee is around 1. 5 lacs. for me it's a big amount. Yes but if your family income is low then you could get a scholarship named as ebc scholarship.

There are many good scholerships provided by my college. Ebc, chhatrapati shahu maharaj scholership, many minority scholership etc. I think chhatrapati shahu maharaj scholership is the best scholership provided by college, in this scholership candidate gets 50 % of fee return.

In Extra curricular activities there are many activities like dance, cricket, table tennis, chess board and many more. college has big football and cricket ground It is gujrati linguistic minority college. About gender ratio, girls are more than boys.

The fee of hostel was 1 lac. Per year. But the facilities provided by the college was good. Facilities includes gym, mess etc. Hostels rooms were sharing. There are seperate hostels for boys and girls.

Alumni are very helpful in somaiya college. They provides good guidance about anything we want related to career. Some of the alumni started a startup compony and they decided to hire students from same college.

I had given Entrance exam for admission. I selected this course because I love programming. I also like software testing. So these was the reason behind choosing this course over the Other courses.

In my college faculties were highly qualified. Most of them were phd degree holder. All faculties having good knowledge about the subjects they were facilitating. All faculties were very helpful in Clearfying doubts.
