Remarks

The college facilities sucks. The faculty is the worst part about the college. They do not take classes instead they burden us with lots and lots of homework and assignment. They want us to perform very well in the exam but they won't bother themselves to take classes. Even if they take class, they teach horrible. We only go to college in order to maintain our attendance. The assignment are assigned via mail or WhatsApp group notification. The semester is filled with assignment, project and tests.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course curriculum is quite outdated, we are still busy in C and C++.No one is focusing on emerging programming languages like Python. The exam structure is quite simple.First we have mid semester exams of 30 marks then there comes the semester exams. The semester exam question paper consist of 8 questions in which we have to answer any 5.The passing marks is 33.

Placement Experience

1

Placement cell is now improving but still we are facing many problems. The average package rate for placement is 4 lpa.No good company visits our college. Some local company visits our college and take 20-25 students on contract basis. No assurity of further assistance is provided.

College Events

1

We do not celebrate much of events and festivals, but we have organised annual fest and tech fest 2 times in 4 years. The ST community use to organise Christmas Eve and other celebration for only ST juniors.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible but the education served according to the fee is quite poor.In each year we have two semesters, each semester fee is Rs.25000/- and the examination form fee is Rs.2550/- which has to be paid during registration for semester exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides scholarship program for ST, SC and OBC students. The "E-kalyan" scholarship program is to provide financial strength to the students who belongs to SC ST and OBC background. They are given Rs.38000 per year.No scholarship program is introduced for general students.

Campus Life

2.5

No extracurricular activities are performed.Only classes are held on very rare basis. In the name of extracurricular activities we organise rangoli competition and cricket matches between junior and senior batches.

Alumni/Alumna

We don't have any connection to our seniors. They were helpful when they were in college.Once the College life ended, we lost contact from them. Many of them are in good position because of their hard work and dedication.

Admission

I had given the JCECE exam in the month of May 2016 for admission in any engineering college situated in Jharkhand which is affiliated to JCECE.I secured a general rank of 4817, then I appeared for the counselling process that was held in Ranchi, According to my general rank I was offered this College.I booked the college in my first counselling round.Later I reached my college which is in Hazaribagh to further initiate the admission process.I have submitted my migration certificate, character certificate, high school certificate in the admission department.I had paid a sum of Rs.34000/- for my first semester fee in advance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum decent because it cover the basic engineering concepts that made me choose this course and it prepare us okay for real-world or higher study, but still more practical work and updated teaching method needed, and exams come mostly every semester with some internals which are moderate tough but manageable with regular study. There are some teachers who teach very well and have good teaching methods.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is okay and the basics are covered well, which is one reason I choose this branch, but some subjects feel outdated and not fully connected to real industry work. It prepare us for further studies more than practical jobs. Exams come every semester with internals in between, difficulty is moderate but few papers become tricky. I think more practical topics, updated labs and better teaching methods will make the curriculum more useful...

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

One of my colleges best features is its placements program, which offers fantastic chances for students to launch their carrers. In the fifth and sixth semesters, students are prepared with aptitude training sessions, group discussions, and resume construction. About 85% of qualified pupils were placed during the previoes school year. Compared to core engieering fields, placements rates were marginally higher in IT branches.
