Course Curriculum Overview

For paper 1 there is pure qustion to your knowledge in maths, physics and chemistry. And for paper 2, maths and visual knowledge and drawing. But maths in paper 2 is rather very easy than the paper 1 maths.

Placement Experience

Placements are really good. If you are pursuing B. Tech in a respectable branch, there is a clear chance of you getting a handsome salary. Moreover, there are no such placements for the B. Arch students as they have to approach themselves to the company.

College Events

There are really a large number of events happening in this college. Cult nite, DJ night, freshers (for 1st years), DG(departmental gathering), IG(institutional gathering), and celebrations for almost every occasion happens here.

Admission

Joint Entrance Examination either by paper 1 or paper 2, paper 1 for B. Tech programme and paper 2 for B. Arch programme. Expected percentile for admission in this college is above 99. Online counseling is done after the exam.

Faculty is really nice. They are experienced upto 25 years. They are well furnished in knowledge and clear the deepest of the doubts. Moreover some teacher are found partial doimg face marking but overall it is a good mixtire of the faculty.

The reason i choose architecture because it fascinates me how a place can be developed into holistic place interests me . The curriculum has some good inputs but it doesn't make you industry ready extra efforts should be taken to learn advance softwares extra classes newer research etc discussion on advance technology becomes important in modern age how architecture is changing is not discussed

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of exam is twice a semester and good enough. Guest lectures are good and helpful for the future preparation.There must be a change in teaching styles of the faculty and more site based experiments through the course for better understanding than only in class studies , the beauty of historical buldings made me wonder about this course

Placement Experience:

For architecure departments, usually there are no placements, but since this Institute is autonomous, they have startes conducting placements drive. Last year 10/12 students were placed in good firms all over banglore, pune, kolhapur. I plan on applying to different firms all over Maharashtra and would also hope to get placement via college since the packages that are offered are good. Placement percentage is anywhere between 12-15%. The highest package offered was around 5,40,000, average package for a architecture student would be-around 3lakhs.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement for architecture students. After completion of the degree, one can apply for jobs or opt for masters. Architects get an average starting salary of 20-25 thousand. The course is pretty expensive including college fees and printing prices. One can also open a private firm and earn enough money. There are very few open students getting placed. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for masters. For a teaching job, one must complete masters.

My Experience at VNIT Nagpur

I had Applied to Vit pune and I am getting Ai and DS there but my dream was to get an NIT so I dropped my decision and can to VNIT. I did not get any rejection from there I just rejected that college over NIT.
