There is no authority to look after the sc\st scholarship, due to which many students are unable to get these scholarships. Also, there is a huge amount of money being wasted for no reason, i.e rebuilding goog road, paint, etc.

Course currilculum is quite okay. First year, youu have to study about the basic knowledge of almost every branch. After first year, you get a choice for branch upgradation if you get 8 + CGPA in first 2 semester. There is a semester system ongoing in SGSITS.

As per the 2020 placement scenario, this might be called the worst year. There are merely some students in EE to get a job.

As sgsits in a very small college in terms id area. But they do conduct their fest once in 2 years. the fest is called AAYAM. Also, some small events called pratibimb. Although there is a small area but utilisation of this available space is fully done. Very few students take part in these events.

The fee structure is expensive considering it is govt. autonomous college. there is just 40k difference in govt and a private college. During admission you have to give 31k in cash. but afterwards, you can submit it through the portal, net banking, debit card, credit card.

As I belong to a middle-class family, the fees of this college are quite affordable. Neither I was awarded any scholarship.

You cannot call it a life. the gender ratio is quite okay. one girl over two boys. Labs are good. Especially heat engine lab. Cause you don't find actual labs in private colleges. There are certain sports event held every year. Although in cricket and football, you have to have good contacts in the hostel to participate.

I don't think any alumni network is helpful for us. Although, there are companies coming to the college none of them are related to alumni.

I wrote JEE mains and got 135 marks. You need to register for dte counselling and choice locking is done. It is counseling to select the college in the state Madhya Pradesh. generally, the form is filled in April-may. The first round of counselling is completed by June.

In electrical engineering, there are some really good faculties who want you to get the best life. But also you get some egoistic faculties which always try you to study their subject only and don't do something for competitive exams during their lecture. Although you get one of the best and cheerful faculty Mr R S Mandloi.
