The course college is following is CBCS, based on UGC carriculum The syllabus is same as other universities syllabus. Msc Chemistry is very demanding in this college, the college has good Labs and all modern instruments which help students to do practical properly. The exams are held regularly and very strict.

The College Is surrounded by big reputed companies like Utkal alumina, jk paper, imfa and vedanta. They provide ample job opportunities to all students studying here. Summer internships and projects are also done in this companies.

The College celebrate all the functions as like all the educational institutions. Ganesh puja, saraswati puja are observed. Independent day, republic day are also observed. Annual function is also celebrated every year followed by Annual sports of the college.

Very minimum fees as prescribed by the Government of India. The fee is around 2000 for higher secondary, 5000 for Degree level and 18000 for pg level. It is very minimum as compared to other colleges.
