Our timing of the college is morning 9 to afternoon 1.15. We hav 4 subjects class in this time. 1st subject timing is from 9 am to 10 am. 2nd subject timing is from 10 am to 11 am . After this we hav break for 15 minutes 3rd subject timing is from 11.15 am to 12.15 pm. 4th subject timing is from 12.15 pm to 1.15pm

Class Size: 3Course Fees: INR 26000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees is 26000 per year for BCA and it is 3 years course There will be 4 installments and I hav to pay within that. I didn't got any scholarship as i m from general catagory. Few of the scholarships are there for sc/st and for general/obc those who have caste,income,resident certificate.

Campus Life

We r having sports and activities multiple times like b4 teachers day, children's day , independence day ,republic day etc We r getting books from library and we r able to take books from the library. We don't hav any problem in terms of books and notes etc

Admission

I choosed this colg over the other colleges because of fees structure In other colleges bca fees is approx 2 to 3 lakhs whereas in this colg I can complete bca within 1 lakh and also it is easy for travelling to colg as it is near to me.

Faculty

There are 6 semesters we are appearing. 2 semester exams in single year and bca is of 3 years. In few sems we hav coding subjects and in few hav secc , aecc papers. Each semester is happens in the gap of 5 months

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Students after completing 6th semester are given chances to do internship and convert it to ppo A total of around 60 companies visited the campus last year. For core branches tata power ,jsw offers a lot of jobs in tech roles tcs capegemini and other service based companies hires. Also cisco hires via there hiring process. Student have also grabbed placement at amazon and ib like credit suisse and goldman sachs previously. Around 60% students are getting placed every year Last year a total of 650 offers are made. So its better to get a job via campus placement rather than trying off-campus

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are good but not great. Th overall performance of students getting placement from every branch course combined is more than seventy percent. But the percentage in branch to branch respective wise is different , as Computer science engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering and Electrical Engineering have higher placement rates than any other courses. From Seventh semester students became eligible for sitting in placements. You can say from the start of Fourth year students sit in placements. Many companies visit and offer placements to our students but the big companies are TCS( Tata consultancy services) , Infosys, Adani Limited , Reliance Limited , Tata Power and Co.. The highest package offered to our branch course ( Electrical Engineering ) Is 13 LPA by Tata Power. The percentage of students getting placed by Electrical Engineering is pretty good and is 77%. Overall percentage of students from all branches is 72%. My plans after getting the degree is simple. I am preparing for placements and also for gate exam . I want to give myself a chance . I will try to get a big placement from a big company as I want . If that doesn't go according to my plan I will try to qualify gate exam and will do Masters in Technology in a. Higher Institute.
