Entrance Preview
GATE exam. I qualified gate exam and filled this form so that I can get petroleum engineering in Mtech. As no college provide petroleum engineering better than this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
ISM is famous for its two main course. Mining engineering and petroleum engineering. The courses taught here are the best and faculties are also best here.
Internships Opportunities
Mine was at ONGC Ankleshwar in Gujarat. ONGC employees are mostly from ISM. So we had very good experience there. As ISM students are known as the wall of the ONGC. We were treated well and they help us in everything either the site visit,field visit and everything.
Placement Experience
Placements are very good here. Almost 90% students are placed. And package are very much good, Schlumberger gives CTC of 32 lacs Amazon, 26 lacs Mu sigma, 8 lacs Cairn.
College Events
There are many events celebrated in my college like Concetto(technical) in October, Basant(alumni) in February, Parakram(sports) in February Srijan(cultural) in March Pratibimb(departmental) in FebruaryThey are celebrated at very big enthusiasm. Other colleges also participate in the events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is feasible here. Not expensive. Also government provides scholarship to poor and talented students. Fee structure is not any hindrance here.
Fees and Financial Aid
Many scholarship and loans are provided to students who need this. For meritorious students as well as minorities students as well as state government also provides scholarship like in Assam. Students from that states get scholarship per annum.
Campus Life
Everything is good here. Extracurricular activities are very much and actively participated by students. As well as ism is one of the top college in sports. Gender ratio is ok ok. But have health relation with each other. Workshops are usually organised in every department. Politically its not much involved. Just student politics are there. BT there is no differences in sex. Religion or area wise.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities and mess food are good. They are hygienic and regular check up is done by hostel as well as. Mess authority. Only two students are allowed in a room. BT the facilities provided are very good. And hostel wardens are very cooperative.
Alumni/Alumna
Aluminis are quite helpful. And most of them are working with most renowned companies in India as well as foreign companies as well as in PSUs. We student have very healthy and cooperative relation with the seniors.
Exam Structure
No. Exams are conducted only two times in a sem. It is little bit chilled out. But they are conducted at quite high level.
Faculty
Faculties are very much experienced as well as knowledgeable person and they are cooperative too and make students to learn the subjects easily.
