All about my College IIITR

negative remarks- not having permanent campus of our own, no big or say organised events, not well established clubs, fees structure is expensive that facility. Positive remarks - course curriculum is good, faculty are of good help, hostel facility is awsome and mess food is nice.

If we talk about course curriculum i will only say its best. Our course curriculum is made seeing the requirements in the near future. Some best institute of india also have the same curriculum. And coming to the exam structure there is credit point system. Where each subject and lab has given some credit point by which our CG is calculated. For basic idea i will add to your knowledge that there's a 30 marks mid-semester test and then 50 marks end-semester test and rest 20 marks are for lab. And which ever subjects don't have lab, in tht subject 20 marks marks are given on the basis of assignments. Regarding labs its average, can't say its hectic as for now there's only two day lab one for ece and one for cs, each of two hours lab.

As for now our first batch will be placed this year only, no official placement stats are out yet, but talking to senior we get to know that many of them has placed with average package of 5. 5-6 lakhs per annum. Yes our College provide internship but not that well for now, in this field our College have to be more concerned and uplift.

Currently our College don't have that much fest or events. As now only many clubs are being made like piccell for photography, alfaaz for poetry, droids for autonomous or we say robotics related. Regarding fest one fest has been starting from this year only that is TRI-QUESTA. As previously we were running in NIT JAMSHEDPUR so we were taking part in the events of nit jsr. But from this year we iiitr has been shifted to ranchi.

Fee structure is expensive if we compare to the facility they are giving to us. Our fee structure is about 131500. 90, 000 - tution fees. 10, 500 - institute fees. 15, 000 - hostel fees. 16, 000 - hostel mess fees

There's no scholarship facility which aur College provide but due to INI status some states have some scholarship program under which students can take benifit. Even in loan taking it makes easier to take.

1. First of all gender ratio- boy:girl = 5:1. 2. There's fresher party is given to 1st year student. And also inside club many parties happen. 3. Many workshop take place in College like DSA, IOT, C, C++, PYTHON, ROBOTICS. 4. Here in iiit there's very much diversity in students as students are from different places due to not having home state quota. 5. Upto now, everyone is living as a family in our College whether he/she is from north or south aur from other countries.

Hostel here is like best ever i have seen, we have mess just below our hostel building, have ground near to our hostel. In one room there is three people sharing. In one room we have given three cupboards, three chair, three table, three beds, three lanports, three swing fan and three charging ports. Room is enough big for three people.

As for now this year our first batch will passout, so we don't have alumni network but talking about seniors they are really helpful to us, they give us all the knowledge which will help us, even in workshop they help us to gain knowledge.

First of all my College is IIITR, which is INI status College so for getting admission in this College i have given JEE MAINS exam. And on the basis of AIR rank i got the seats in here. Regarding admission process details i have registered in jossa counselling from where all the JEE qualified students get there seats in the College according to there rank. During jossa counselling i got ECE of IIITR, where i took admission. I took ECE course cause i wa always been interested in this one, and also according to present and upcoming days, demand of ECE students will be more for the society development.

Faculty are well qualified and they are really doing there job perfectly, but still there's one or two faculty whose interaction with students is not upto the mark. But there dedication should be apraised as they are giving all there efforts to help us in our couse and to increse aur potential and knowledge.
