Just as there are thorns in roses, our college also has some negativitis.In particular, the flaws in The Holstel Room Structure, No Scolership offered by our college & no stipend given by college for training.Besides it, All are Best in Our college & I'm truely Proud For My college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Pharmaceutical Science is Related to Medical Science.Our B.Pharma, i.e.Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Technology, is a Course for 4 Years (8 Semester, each one for 5-6 months).In each semester we've to Give 4 Continuous Assessment (1 Viva, 1 MCQ Exam, 2 written exam).Each one are about 25 marks.At the end of Semester, We Give Semester Exam (100 Marks) for both Theory & Practical (all are according to our MAKAUT University rules)
Placement Experience
Yes, Our college provid intership from themself.As a B.Pharm student, a industrial training & 2 clinical training is Mandatory in our course time (after completion of 4th semester).& Our college manage this well by their hand.If anyone get direct permission for training, from any industry, Our college give us permission to go & train there.But one have to pay all the expenses yourself.Besides it, according to our senior, there are few companies comes here for giving us job offer.but all of them are well known companies in the Pharmacy Region.
College Events
The main Two Big Culture Event We Have here are 'Freshers' (for welcoming new students) in the middle of September or August & Fest (Annual Cultural Program) in the middle of March or April.Participation in Each one of them is Mandatory to Us.Same for Annual Sports Competition.Besides It, We've Small Culture Programes, like Independence Day Celebration, Republic Day Celebration, Birthday of Rabindranath Tagore, Swami Vivekananda, etc.in the seminar hall of the college.As Traditional Festival, we celebrate Swaraswati Puja & Vishwakarma Puja each year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As a Technical Course in Private college, Fees Structure is a Little Bit Expensive.For Addmission in The college we've to pay 70-75k (addmission + 1st semester fee).After that, each semester fees is around 40-50k.
Fees and Financial Aid
No.There are No Such thing provided by our college.Besides it, According to Our Government Rule in each private colleges, they've 5 sits for thoes who are not so active in financially.They only pay for Tuition Fees in each semester (4.5-5.5k).
Alumni/Alumna
There are Separated group for like Photography Group, Culture Group etc.Beside Teachers, Senior are always encouraged us to play role in those activity.Other hand, they always help us in any kind of thing like doing assignment, giving privious year question papers, solving any doubt, helping in wall magazine or any cultural activity or sports.They are so friendly that they are considered themselves as our own brother.
Admission
for Studying Pharmacy as Higher Study, We Had to sit for WBJEE exam (Now NEET exam).Then We Get Chances to Choose colleges as we like according to our rank, by WBJEE Councilling.Then in college, according to Merit list of WBJEE rank, Students get Chance to addmission to that college.
Faculty
Most of Our college Teachers are PHD graduated & rest of them are Masters Graduated (M.Pharma).They try to taught us as easy as possible, so that we can understand thoes easily.For Better Understanding, In some cases they give us lecture in our mother tongue, so we can get that smoothly.Besides it, for doubt clearance, we can approach to them at any time, even in lunch break.They always have time for us & all of them are Friendly to us.
