Remarks
College is good for studies and pleasure It lacks freedom of some sort somewhere. For each visitor to our hometown, we need the approval of a personal faculty which is primarily for our safety but is indeed tedious.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good and well maintained. There are 3 exams for a semester along with quizzes and projects. In regards to research, the course structure needs to improve more. Exams are a bit frequent and sometimes feels like a hectic task.
Placement Experience
Placements and opportunities are huge here. Yes, my college provides an internship. Almost many students get placed here every year and the college holds several Guinness records for placements. I joined this college, especially for this fact.
College Events
Events are GRAVITAS and RIVIERA which are the best college fests in India. The technical fest is GRAVITAS and offers a lot of opportunities for research and study. The cultural fest is RIVIERA which provides an event to showcase our talents in arts and sports.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is a bit expensive compared to other colleges. Compared to IITS and NITS the hostel fees are much higher. The college also charges money for almost every event which can be sometimes difficult to cope up with.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college offers scholarships for international transfer programs. It is an event where a student can complete his/her final semester in any of the partner foreign universities of the college. It provides great exposure to students.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are good and satisfying. Male is the predominant gender here Race, religion, sex all are treated equally. Politics and economic status is poor due to the norm of the university.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are good and maintained with lifts and air conditioning. The washroom needs much more sanitation. The hostel is on a shared basis and is always well cleaned. Hostel rooms are spacious depending on the block and building you receive.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, the alumni network is strong and really helpful. The Alumni network actually guided me to this college as some of my friends were well placed here. The accommodation was good and there is no ragging here. College seniors are most friendly and helpful.
Admission
I got Admission by cracking the VITEE exam. I preferred computer science as it is the best engineering stream. Engineering is the most placed branch in India and I chose it because of this fact. Also, my preparation for jee helped me to crack VITEE.
Faculty
Very few faculties teach with good experience and professionalism and some teachers just the mere things mentioned in some web page or presentations. Some faculties have good experience and interest in providing advice to students regarding placement and job opportunities.
