A cherished place

The infrastructure and facilities are on the rise from my days in college, the shuttle buses are more frequent and they have even changed it to air conditioned vehicles, better environment, better faculties, better amenities along with few restrictions

The course curriculum is really good compared to the other universities or colleges, there is a separate FFCS structure followed in our university that has the flexibility of choosing our own staffs and timings for the courses as for the exam structure, it is Theoritical,practical and research based with 3 internals and quizzes for each subject along with the semester exam.

They create enormous opportunities not only for the VITians but also for off campus students even if it's a science course, they provide with various core companies to recruit the talented people, the college does provide us with 2 options one being the on campus project, the other can be off campus internship along with the project and stipend.

Gravitas- it is a inter college celebrations where workshops, conferences,paper presentations are conducted by each department students for 3 consecutive days. RIVIERA- It is a cultural fest for letting out the talents of students celebrated for 4 days with ending each evening with a group of celebrity performances. Biosummit, photosummit,etc are other spectacular events conducted by the club members letting students to explore their career path

It depends upon the course that we choose but it's worth the amount we invest for the education considering the amenities and the quality of education provided for students, the fee for retaking a subject seems a bit expensive.

I haven't availed any scholarships but I do know that they provided concessions for people whose parents were servicemen and also they provide full scholarship for the students who have scored school first or district first in their 12th grade hailing from government schools.

The sports club in VIT is well active and so are the labs for different streams, the robotics club outshines most of the other clubs when it comes to tech savvy students, we have cisco labs that helps with the internship and placement after college.

Yes, we have two alumni events that happens every year, one is in the Vellore campus on Jan 26th and another in USA for the students settled in abroad, these conferences are organised and hosted by the alumni and the guest would be our chancellor

According to the eligible criteria,once applied we are alloted with counseling numbers and also based on the VITEE Exam, which is the entrance exam.and the course and campus can be selected as per the availability at the time of your counseling call.

They are well educated with up to date knowledge, the administration also reviews the performance of the faculties every trimester and almost every single faculty are PhD holders and even the lab assistants and other staffs are also very well knowledged in their specific streams
