Remarks

The college is very good and very well organized.

Entrance Preview

CET - my score was 68 and i opted this college because of its as a reputed college plus it had christian minority.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very good only thing bad about it is the universityis not very carefull about the examinations and marking system. The electives are very informative but as students only want scores it is mostly based on how much v can score rather than how much we can learn.

We have many events in college the sports n cultural fests are the main events under these all are covered all sports n extra curicular activities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very feasible it is around 80k per annum but looking at other college fee structure it looks very feasible.

There are many scholarships offered by the college but i dnt knw about the loan facilities.

Campus Life

All these facilities are great they are best as far as i knw about other colleges.

The seniors were very good always available to solve or queries may it be related to studies or placements.

The faculty is very good, all are highly qualified and very helpful and very interactive. The faculty takes a lot of efforts to make own note which makes studying much easier n ppts are better than studying from the big fat reference books.

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. I applied for good colleges like VJTI, SPIT, VESIT, TCET, KJSomaiya, DJ Sanghvi but because of my less percentile in mhcet(89)and Jee(90)mains,I got into Xaviers. I was also having st. Francis college option, but I read it's Review on quora and was not satisfied from its Review so decided to go for st. Xavier. I got the Automation and robotics branch in VESIT, but I loved IT branch so dropped the offer of that college. The admission process to the college was easy. Staff helped alot. My college accepts admission through gov. Quota i.e. Cap round and jee main percentile As per 2024, mhcet cutoff was 94%. And catholic minority can get admission easily in Xaviers....Read More
