Course Curriciulum is not very well define. It can give you good theoretical knowledge but practical exposure is lacking.

I did it in HONDA, Manesar. It was good, did one project in quality, The title of project was Reduction of defects in processing of fuel tanks. Learnt the whole production process of two wheelers.

Placement oppurtunities are varse. ALmost all the industries including Telecom, IT, Pharmaceuticals, Consulting, Production, manufacturing, Logistics cpmes for placement, And I got selected in Coal India Limited. 95% of student got placement in my batch and rest 5 % opted out as they had higher studies plan.

We have major 2 festivals Techniche(annual Technical fest) and ALcheringa( annual cultural festivals). Both are North East Biggest Festival and you can expect a gathering of 2 lakhs easily. Both are for 3 days and colleges from all over india participate in these festivals. Both are very reputed fests all over India. Apart from these 2 we have many Inter Hostel and Intra IIT fests also.

Yes I was getting NSE Scholarships but not sure about other scholarships. Through NSE scholarship my semester fees of 17500 was done by them only.

Campus Life is amazing, one of the best time of my life. Night life is unbelievable, If you are enthusiastic you can start any thing from sports activity to NGO;s activities and college authorities will assist you. Robotics, inter hostel cricket tournamnet, Football premium league, Free HUGS inititative, Kite Flying competition inter hostel cultural fest MANTHAN, many dance competitions were some of the events starting during my tenure in IIT Guwahati.

Hostels are pretty good and new. We have a one in class infrastructure if it comes to Sports Building, Library etc. We have 3 lakes , 1 hilltop inside our 1800 acres campus. Awarded as the most beautiful campus in India. Fees is meagre 17500 per Semester

We have some get together almost every month in one or the other parts of India. Very well active mail network of Allumnis in gmail, Linked in, Facebook. Etc.

Faculties are good and well qualified. Most are PHDs from foreign university.
