Remarks

A college that has a list of achievers. I personally had an experience at Jain, the faculty is very helpful. Although the fee structure is high, JU provides all the amenities.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The pedagogy of SET-JU is up-to-date as per the industry standards So that we are readily available for work after graduation. Every year we had industrial visits to companies related to electrical manufactures & electronics as well. These visits are actually very helpful for us giving an insight into how the related products are being manufactured, tested and used.

Placement Experience

3

Many companies came for placements with our college as it's well collaborated with them. The average salary we are offered is around 6L/A. We had a written test, g.d and depending on the company we had one or two rounds of interview. The year of our passing the placement percentage is around 92%. Each & Every one of us are prepared and groomed well for the placements starting from our 1st semester with different kinds of Programmes.

College Events

5

Blood donation camps, My Country Run, SET fest, Fresher's Day, Graduation Day, etc. Student clubs like AERO, AUTO, YAANTRIK, AVALANCHE, INFOSPHERE, SPARK, ATHARVA, ATOM, & IGNAN clubs in different departments of JU-SET are focused to provide a platform for the students to organize and conduct technical and brainstorming events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Even if the fees is a bit expensive when compared to other colleges, you will ultimately walk-out with an offer letter from the college. All the facilities provided by the college will be at an extra cost. yeah, the college does provide transparency in the fee-breakdown.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I didn't opt for any scholarship or education loan. But as per my knowledge, the student should have at least 80% in +2. After the payment of admission fee, Jain allocates a loan letter (the total expenditure estimate) which can be submitted to the bank and loan can be availed.

Campus Life

4.5

Excellent campus life, a student will enjoy his life till the last day, as one or the other event will take place every day. Jain is the only university that focuses on extracurricular activities along with academics.I would rate SET-JU 9/10 for sports, extra-curricular activities, competitions etc.

Alumni/Alumna

we had an interactive session with alumni wherein our alumni are in top positions in most of the MNC's and are excelling in sports nationally and internationally as well.

Admission

I came to know about the college from one of my cousins pursuing an MBA in JU. Heard it's one of the top universities in Bangalore with excellent infrastructure, lab facilities, experienced faculty with Ph.D's. I should say the highest placement rate is also one of the factors that made me choose Jain University. I directly contacted the admissions office, came to know about the JET exam and the process of admission. Basically i am a person interested with electronics and electrical things & goods from my childhood, this enthusiasm & keen interest of mine helped me to opt EEE in my BTech. I took JET entrance test, passed it with 90 marks and am allocated a seat in EEE during my counselling process. Then i blocked my seat by paying admission fee.

Faculty

4.5

I would rate my college 4/5 as per faculty. This is bcoz all the faculty are M.tech graduates with more than 7 years of work experience & 5 Ph.D. holders as well as doing research in different fields of EEE. We received a lot of support from faculty for publishing papers and with projects as well. We had many guest lectures on recent trends and techniques of EEE introduced by many industry experts.

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.
