Remarks

My 2 years journey here was the amazing ride I can ever discuss about each and every time I enjoyed the way I never did before. From being a student to becoming a professional business associate I really saw myself grow and all the credit is IITM.

Course Curriculum Overview

The MBA course structure was indeed the best one I could ever think of. As the interesting syllabus and the amount of exposure, I received from the whole program was well the best. The syllabus was not that hard but still contains in-depth theory related to management and leadership skills.

Placement Experience

In IITM, the placement and internship process were amazing and most of the time the companies offered good salary package to their students with good employee benefits. The companies like HDFC, Yes Bank, and Super Dry were invited to the campus to recruit the students.

Campus Life

The sports, library, labs and every resource here was good, I miss being a student, apart from this, the college also fostered the amount of exposure to us by inviting us to attend certain symposiums and conferences on emerging trends in business environment. Hence, giving us a good picture about the professionalism.

Admission

I was in MBA program and for that I applied in the IPU CET exam and once I cleared that exam I submitted all my documents which were basically my academic profile and the graduation marks. Final selection was made through the merit list displayed by the college authority.

Faculty

My most of the professors were MBA, Post doctorate and approximately all of them had immense amount of experience that made them well aware about the certain course and subject area. I am really thankful to them for giving me such a clear head about each and every complex topics.

Great experience. Decent internship and placement opportunities

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in the third semester of their college companies start coming for placement since then and the placement is continued till the end of the last semester top recruiters who visit the college for placement are Asian Paints Nestle ICICI Securities ICICI Prudential Amul Trident etc highest package offered to students is 12 lakh per annum and the average package ranges between 4 lakh to 5 lakh per annum almost 80% of students get good placement opportunities by the campus mostly the companies come for marketing or sales role very few companies come for finance and HR role.

my rank in jee mains was 18600 in which i didnt get any good branch (cs it) in good nit or iiit in JOSAA. Then in CSAB 1st round i got iiit jabalpur ece and in 2nd round i got iiitm gwalior it+mba). Well equipped infrastructure and decent placements

The other colleges that I applied to were: IIIT Lucknow in which i was getting B.Tech in computer science and some private colleges. 1. I had applied to XIME Bangalore, Welingkar, and Christ College. I got selected for XIME Bangalore. 2. I choose IIITM Gwalior because it is a central government institute, proximity to my hometown and affordable program fee. 3. I got rejected from Welingkar and Christ due to low CAT score. 4. The admission process for MBA is quite straight forward. IIITM only accepts CAT score. There is no explicit mention of minimum CAT percentile. In under graduation one should have at least 60% with maths/statistics as one of the subjects. After that there will be group discuss round and interview round.
